So
how did you like the season premiere of Adventures in Odyssey?
Was it what you were expecting?
In
celebration of the new season,
I hope to be updating the site with a new
Extra!
Extra! article, possibly one I wrote a while back, or
possibly one that a gracious fan has written. I still have some
deciding to do as to which one I should post. Both are equally
insightful and appropriate for a new season.
What
would you like to see happen during the Fall 2003 season of Adventures
in Odyssey? - Don't
forget about the new WEEKLY forums which will be appearing on
the site (see box on left for a reminder each week).

After
a long wait, the Fall
Season 2003 has finally begun.
Seeing
Red, show #526, airs
on radio stations across the country, and we'll all have the
opportunity to check in to see what's going on in Odyssey these
days. Check yesterday's update (below) for an episode summary,
or visit this link. If
you do not have a radio station that broadcasts AIO, then
listen
at Oneplace. My
review will arrive later next week.

I'm
proud to reveal my final and last Review
of the Spring 2003 Season, just in time for the new
Fall
Season 2003, beginning tomorrow! It's probably the longer of
my season reviews, but has some good points.
Here
Today, Gone Tomorrow?

is becoming a pimple on the face of my life, as Donna
Barclay once said..."

Don't
forget to tune in TOMORROW for the Season Premiere of Adventures
in Odyssey! Here's a sneak peek of what Seeing Red is
about:
Sorry
seems to be the hardest word and it's reached epidemic
proportions in Odyssey! Connie and Mitch, Mandy and Liz, and
even Jack and Joanne are all having a hard time with that
concept. Who will be the first to apologize?
Find
out tomorrow in Seeing Red!
Meanwhile, go reminisce and give us your
opinion on what the new season should be about! Visit the
2003
Episodes page if you're interested in reading summaries for
the next two episodes from now. It sounds like we'll be having a
good season this Fall.
Also
today I've revamped the
Contest
page we had back in 2002. Phil Martin caught a goof on my part
on question #5.

For
a while now I have been getting suggestions for the website
regarding fan interaction. In response to those requests, I've
decided to update the Polls &
Forums section with a weekly forum section, where fans can
submit their feedback on the season and let others know. If
you'll look to the left you'll notice a new box called
"Forums Weekly," which is provided as a reminder to go
submit your comments each week via the form. Other fans'
comments will appear as they are processed, so keep checking
back to the section to see the additions. A reminder will be at
the left also on the days it is updated. If you need to get your
Episode-Speak entry in, it's due no later than September 30th,
so please submit them! I hope you
enjoy the new feature. The Forum Awards may just have to wait a
while after the fifth one.

With
only four days left until the Fall
Season 2003, new episode titles have been
released.
A
new page for the season has been posted under
Schedule,
and the Episodes and
2003
pages have been updated. It looks as if we'll be having a good
season this year!

it comes to sports episodes, they definitely aren’t

I'm
currently working out the kinks on the website. I just cleaned
up the Archives section and edited
all of the pages to follow a better format. I repaired some
links as well and replaced some e-mail addresses. I'd say it
looks a whole lot nicer. It was tedious, but now it's one load
off my mind.

I'm
feeling a bit generous today and decided to let you in on what's
going on with Virtual Whit's End. Never heard of it before?
Well... Virtual Whit's End is in the creation process, and has
been for several years. My cousin Caleb is the designer and
expert in creating such a tough work. For several years now
Caleb and I have been planning an online tour of Whit's End
which may be Flash-related and come with a nice site design. I
won't even begin to say when we plan on releasing the site, as
things are slowly falling into place.
The
problem is that when we had originally started designing "VWE,"
the graphics/detail weren't very rich, so a new design was
started. Then that was swapped again and now we're finally
getting close to our release. The above picture (click on it to
see a larger, more detailed version) is what the virtual tour
looks like to the designer. You're seeing an image of what
Whit's End looks like before it's been rendered, giving it a 3D,
computer graphic feel. Caleb sees that most of the time as he
designs the shop. Are you able to pick out anything from that
image?
We'll
be posting some more images soon on the site (most of which are
rendered and more interesting), so keep checking back. These
images will probably spark your curiosity and maybe have you
looking forward to a new AIO site on the web.

Yesterday
something inspired me to create a new
Sound Clip for the
website. I got to work, eventually creating the new clip. When
will the new clip be posted? Only time will tell, so stay tuned
to this site! I really enjoyed creating this sound clip and
can't wait to share it with you. And I'm also glad that it's
done!
Want
a sneak peek? Well... it involves a country, a car, and three
Odyssey citizens.

The
"Summer of History" series is starting to come to a
close and the new episodes are preparing for a grand entrance.
Today Columbus: The Grand Voyage airs on your radio
station, and in only three weeks, the new season will begin
(September 27th)! If you don't know anything that's going to
happen next season, you may be surprised and excited to know
that Connie will be going on a road trip, just like Eugene in
Wish
