As
the end of the month approaches, I thought I'd light up your day
with two brand-new Interviews to
read. I'm slowly catching up on these things, so be patient
while I click away on the website updation (is 'updation' a
word?). Don't worry; when I have a goal in mind, I usually make
sure I accomplish it and finish it all the way. December starts
tomorrow.

In
case you haven't already noticed, yesterday was the beginning of
a limited time collection of entries for our new contest!
Between now and December 10, we're collecting names for a
whopper of a prize. Head on over to
Contests
for more information on how you can enter and what those prizes
are!

After
such a long time, the Interviews
section has finally been updated with five brand-new interviews.
I'll slowly be releasing the other ones I have stockpiled over
the next few weeks, so keep checking back.
Also
today, the Fans' Reviews section
has been updated with three new reviews. The
Fan
List is updated with seven names.

What
was your reaction to "Something Blue" and the twist in
Connie and Mitch's relationship?
Monday,
November 24, 2003
The
cover art for album #41 has finally been released! According to
the Official Site, the
forty-first album of Adventures in Odyssey will be
called, appropriately enough, In Hot Pursuit. It's
interesting to point out that "My Girl Hallie" will be
included, the episode we all had a chance to vote on not too
long ago. The cover art features a scene with Connie and Mitch
in Something Blue, a
turning point in the outcome of Connie and Mitch's future on the
show.
Also,
if you didn't know, the Official
Site has updated with a special "Extended Edition"
of Something Blue, part
two, including over six minutes of new material. Be sure to
listen.

Well,
today marks the season finale of the
Fall
Season 2003 of Adventures in Odyssey. Episode
#534:
Something Blue airs today. Connie
tries to deal with Mitch's new lifestyle when their relationship
takes a surprising turn. My review will most likely come
later next week, so I haven't forgotten about it.

Right
now I feel as if I'm at a crossroads. This week my life is
packed with little adventures to keep me away from enhancing the
website, and next week I'll be pretty busy as well. The updates
will definitely continue, but until the end of next week it'll
be a tough road making time for site updates. I don't want to
mention which sections I will be updating as I'd rather it be a
surprise. Keep your fingers crossed.

What
would you think if Connie and Mitch decided to get married?
Sunday,
November 16, 2003
If
you're having trouble waiting for the concluding episode of the
Fall
Season 2003 next week, then I may have a solution. If you
can contact a Christian bookstore near you, see if they have
"At Home in Mitford," the latest release from Focus
on the Family Radio Theatre. If you're into small town drama
with the ins and outs of the problems of the little folk, then
"At Home in Mitford" is perfect for you. I've been
going through it this week and I learned an interesting fact
about the acting. As an interesting fact, Chuck Bolte, former
voice of George Barclay, takes on a special role as George
Gaynor in the drama! It's pretty interesting to hear Chuck in a
different role. To learn more about this production, visit the
Radio
Theatre
website.

Today
I present my latest Review:
Pink
Is Not My Color
*****
"Pink
Is Not My Color takes you into the home of the Bourland family,
letting you see what its problems are, how the family reacts to them, and
how you can react to them as well."

If
I get time this afternoon, I think I'll get going on some of the
Interviews I've been promising
since a few days ago. They've been collecting up for a while and
it's time to get them on the net... where they belong!
Nothing
really exciting is happening in the AIO world right now. I plan
on getting a quick jump on my next review sooner or later.

On
This Day In History... a redesign was in effect. The Odyssey
Scoop's first full year of existence had almost taken place and
it was time for a redesign. I remember it like it was yesterday.
I remember I plastered information about an exciting redesign
all over the website. It's time for a fresh start... a new
beginning, is what the Scoop said for about three months. We
worked for months on a newer and fresher design to the website,
which we planned on releasing on November 10, 2001. The days
quickly approached and I was afraid I wouldn't get done in time.
Fortunately, I did, and our efforts were paid off. We released
the new design that day with positive reactions to it. The
design consisted of a black background, a few new sections, and
a red-colored navigation bar. I very much liked it. Today, as a
celebration, I'm releasing one of our
"secret"
look backs at the old design. Does it look familiar, or are
you a newcomer since then? Either way I believe the current
design is the best one yet, and it probably won't change... for
a while at least. I must admit, that logo did look pretty
spiffy!

In
yesterday's update, I asked a trivial question. What
is the only other episode in AIO history with the word 'pink' as
part of the title? And for the fun of it, I left the floor
open for a chance to be congratulated in today's update. I was
surprised at the number of responses in such a short time.
Eleven people contacted us and told us the answer is
Red
Wagons and Pink Flamingos (#296). I actually would rather
prefer to mention all the names, but I did only say the first
person to contact us would be the winner. So I congratulate Sapphira
for giving me to correct response the quickest. For the rest of
you... thanks for trying.

Another
new episode, Pink Is Not My Color [#532],
airs on radio stations across the country. Although I can't
exactly provide you with an episode summary yet (it wasn't
released in time elsewhere in the AIO realm), you'll be able to
see a summary over at the
Official
Site. I think the title sounds pretty interesting and I look
forward to hearing this episode for a first time.
What
is the only other episode in AIO history with the word 'pink' as
part of the title?

Today
I present my latest Review:
Teacher's
Pest
*****
"Teacher's
Pest seems to take on a slow role, Mandy Straussberg as a
main character, not at all a pest, but instead the pest is
her teacher."

Today
I am finally posting the November 2003
Poll.
Be sure to head on over and vote. It's definitely different, to
say the least. Thanks to Princess Buttercup for the idea. Also
the final results for last month's poll regarding to
improvements to Adventures in Odyssey have been posted.

In
regards to site updates this month, I want to focus mainly on
AIO
FAQ as well as Interviews. I
see that I have been ignoring both areas of the site, something
I would like to work on. I still need to release that special
new clip over at Sound Clips, too.

How
would you react if Connie and Joanne ran into Eugene on their
road trip this season?
I
got motivated and decided to change the look of the
Forum
yesterday. Check it out. I'd say it looks a lot nicer; wouldn't
you?
