I love Maple Trees!!! \:D/ Plus, cows like to eat them, soooo... ;)

I am not. Unfortunately...at times. :P
HomeschoolCowgirl wrote:What would be your perfect day?
Playing games with my family, a warm day outside with my cousins, getting to play a Grand Piano outside in a cow pasture, with cows in it. \:D/
Bethany Shepard wrote:Do you enjoy the occasional fast food? Where is your favorite?
If it's once-a-month Occasional, then I guess. This week, on my mission trip, I had the most fast food I've ever eaten... 0_o Subway. :D
Bethany Shepard wrote:What is the one, single food that you would never give up?
Hmmmm, I don't know. Breads? :P I know some "gluten-free people," and that must be a hard life..
Bethany Shepard wrote:What is your weirdest "quirk"?
Ummm, all of them? ^_^ Everything I do. :P
HomeschoolCowgirl wrote:How would you spend a week free of responsibilities?
Don't really know. You probably wouldn't want to know anyway. :anxious:

Hmmmmm, let me think....I've always liked ostriches....but there is some black and white bird I like as well, but I can't quite think of it....
Miss Friendship wrote:Why do you take such lonnnnnnng trips? COME BACK.
It's a week long mission trip....deal with it.
Helios wrote:Are the beasts in your signature actually oxen? :D
I don't think so. They are Brown Swiss though, and they are my favorite breed of dairy cows. :D
aragtaghooligan wrote:How did your trip go?
It was GREAT!
aragtaghooligan wrote:What was the best moment?
The first night, after chapel time, my youth group spent a long time discussing several things. And it was similar to some of the discussions on the ToO, except very kind and open...and I was able to use some of the information I've been learning about from several Theology/Philosphy podcasts, so that was cool.
aragtaghooligan wrote:What was the hardest moment?
Most of the VBS was a little hard for me, because almost none of the kids knew English, and I'm not the best person with kids in the first place...so I was a little awkward for a while...
aragtaghooligan wrote:What is something you learned?
Spanish. I've learned important words like empuja (push), alto (higher), and listo (ready). Very important words with kids on a swing set. ;)
aragtaghooligan wrote:What did you do while you were there?
We did a VBS from Monday to Thursday. The first three days, there were 6 stations, and each one had a Bible story and activity with it. On Monday, I helped with the story of Day 4 of the Creation week. The activity was drawing stars with crayons, and then painting over it with black water-colors. The water did not paint over the wax, so the stars really stuck out. ;) On Tuesday, I helped with the story of "Sadrac, Mesac y Abednego," and I helped make little paper frames with tissue paper "flames." On Wednesday, we told the story of the 10 Plagues on the Egyptians, and played "Pin the Plague on the Egyptian." xDDD The 6 stations went on from 9-11 in the morning each day, and then we gave the kids food, and played games with them (just swinging, running around, etc.) until 3, when we left. On Wednesday, we left after lunch and handed out Rice and Beans, and talked to the people in the community. On Thursday, we had water games all morning with the kids (we filled over 300 water balloons!!!), and said goodbye at 1:00. That was basically the entire missions aspect. Sunday-Thursday night, we had a chapel time, where there were 3 worship songs, and then one of the staff gave a short talk on the theme of the week. Then each youth group with spend some time discussing some questions. Over all, it was a great week. :D

I missed you too! When I go away, I usually try to disconnect myself from home, in order to not get homesick, etc. It was a little harder to disconnect myself from all of you guys, but I managed. ;) However, on Saturday, on the plane, I was ready to get home, and talk to all of you guys. :D

You handed out rice and beans...so what, one bean and one rice to everyone?

How long did it take for you to read everything on the SS?

Isn't Helios great? :D

Welcome back! (Actually I didn't really miss you except one day. You were mostly forgotten)

I don't even know how to respond. But, actually, we had four cans of kidney beans and four bags of rice. And we talked to three different people, two of which accepted the food. We also passed two other people that we gave Rice and beans to, so we passed out everything we were given.
Miss Friendship wrote:How long did it take for you to read everything on the SS?
I just finished everything, today. I think. And it was waaaaaaaaaay too long... -_-

Reallly? They're poisonous for horses (well, red leaves are).

MF and OxR I can't tell if you guys are on the same page or not. Is one or both of you being really mean or is one or both of you just being funny and are you both ok with it? Just be careful you are on the same page and not hurting anyone's feelings because what you guys say to each other almost sounds like bullying and it stresses me out.

The tongue-stuck-out smiley :P usually indicates either sarcasm or just teasing -- not mean -- so I'd assume they're being nice to each other while pretending to be mean. :?

*shiver* I hope not. That would be like being on the Sheriff's "Wanted list" only...worse. :P

*gets into serious mood* We are both ok with it. We both love sarcasm, and its rare to find someone who we can rant and rage on all in fun, and who won't get offended. :D So we enjoy "being mean" if that's a thing. If we get offended at each other, (which does happen, but rarely) we get un-offended.

Do you like coffee OxR? Iced coffee?

Yeaaaaaaaaah....we basically are bullying each other, but we both enjoy it...slightly. ;) If it bothers you too much, you may just have to stop reading our threads...or we could just scream at each other in PM. :P

How did you guys decide who would and wouldn't get the five first class seats? Why didn't you eat the local food instead of something Italian?

I just wondered. No need to react so. O.o Well, I pity you, you really should consider getting a doctor to look at you. Have you ever tried coffee?

My dad and uncle both agreed with you that coffee faintly does smell like a skunk, and they said they love that smell. So, heh, ITS A GOOD SMELL.

What is your favorite color?

What color do you wear the most?

aragtaghooligan wrote:How did you guys decide who would and wouldn't get the five first class seats?
Let see....My one youth leader has special benefits with the airlines. He was able to have a 5 people with his special benefits, and each person could get a free checked bag. He could also pick seats on the airplane earlier, so we could sit together. The other four people in my youth group were with my other youth leader, who did not have any benefits. When the airline upgraded my youth leader, they decided to upload his entire party, all five of us. How we were chosen to go with the one youth leader and not the other, I have no idea, except all of us in the group of five were over 16, so that might have had something to do with it.
aragtaghooligan wrote:Why didn't you eat the local food instead of something Italian?
Because...I didn't. :anxious: I didn't really know what the local food was, and I was hungry, and wanted something I knew I would like.
Miss Friendship wrote:I just wondered. No need to react so. O.o Well, I pity you, you really should consider getting a doctor to look at you. Have you ever tried coffee?
Heh. I knew you liked coffee, so I decided to be rude. Not really...who would want to drink skunk?

Green.

Probably blue....
Helios wrote:So, Ox, do you prefer tea? :)
Yuppers. I like green and black tea. As well as iced tea. :D Even in the summer, I sometimes have tea. I had raspberry black tea this morning.

What do you like in your tea? I like milk and honey and every time my mom asks what kind of tea I want I say the kindkind, then I say "with milk and honey on the other side" because of that song.
