I don't think it needs to take God 6 days to complete it, He could do it instantly.

Also "regular" week, is misleading. There have been many different measurements of weeks and days throughout history.

What is one of the worst straw men you have ever heard while debating?

What is one of the most embarrassing or worst mistake you have ever made while debating? (if you don't mind telling...)

Piety is the state of being religious or reverent

Worst strawman, during the past year the topic was the Middle East and I heard some really horrendous strawmen about Arab and Muslim stereotypes.

Worst mistake, my debate partner and I were debating some friends from our club. We had researched their debate case specifically and so were able to present a lot of evidence and arguments. We were too smug and upset our friends. You shouldn't do so much research against your club mates and friends. And you shouldn't rub it in their face if you win. It was a very valuable learning experience for me.

There has always been a 24hr day though.

Would you rather be in a drive through window for 12 hours or behind the cash register for 10? (McDonald's, of course.)

And their has always been a long period of time. ;)

That's a funny story... :P But, are you suggesting you shouldn't research as much, or only research as much as your opponents do?

@Miss Friendship No there hasn't been, time keeping devices had to be invented before that was possible.

Behind the cash register for 10 hours unless a good friend was in the car with me.

My point is be kind to your teammates and don't be smug or proud.

Does your church have what I call 4 part harmony (Soprano, Alto, Tenor, Base) and if so, what do you sing?

If you could convince me of one thing that I don't agree with you on, what would that be? :D

Those are AWESOME, Beth. \:D/

It's "bass," by the way, MF.

You mentioned before a debating tip, do you have any other advice for wannabe debaters?

I would convince you about the important of the Apostolic Tradition.

Bow ties are cool

Listen to the other person in the debate and make sure you're debating the same thing. So many debates go off the rails because there isn't agreement about what is being discussed.

Tough question, I only debated TP but I've coached both. Unless the TP topic is really good I prefer LD most of the time, I think it gets to the deeper questions.

LD is Lincoln Douglas debate which is a one on one debate dealing with philosophical issues such as the role of national security versus individual privacy.

TP is Team Policy debate which is teams of two debaters debating each other. This type of debate has more to do with legislative policy, so it's similar to Congress passing a bill and it being debated.

My favorite vegetable is asparagus so that I guess?

What did the early Christians believe about creation?

Would you rather read a book or listen to it?

Chocolate or Candy?

Do you wear sandals during the summer?

Are you going to teach your children how to debate? (Assuming your future wife will know nothing about debating, which most likely she won't.)
