The Actors of Mr. Whittaker
Miss Friendship said it exactly right. I just can't get used to Andre. He's not Whit.

In my opinion Paul is by far the best and Hal comes in second. But for Andre, I think he'll need voice surgery before reconize his voice right away
. It always take a second for me to catch on who talking

I would say Hal. I think he has an extremely special warmth around him that no one can replicate. He was a very special man. I think Paul has a terrifyingly close sound to Hal's, it is freaking eerie. But Andre... Like, there's Whit and then "Whit" It's like they've made a different character and are calling him Whit. It's sad for me.

Frankly, it's tempting to think you felt no or less bump mainly because Paul and Hal sound so similar. (Rather than how a differently Whit is portrayed.) You wouldn't notice the difference without listening for it with Hal and Paul. It could be argued both Paul and Andre portray Whit different.Miss Friendship wrote:I don't think anyone is denying the fact that Andre is a very talented actor... that's not the point. The point is that he isn't "Whit" to us. Or rather, a different Whit than what was portrayed before... which for many fans is hard to accept.
