That's what I thought...

Eleventh, make believe can still have aspects of real life mixed in. There is no game that doesn't have real life attached to it in someway. Maybe you feel comfortable around the occult... I do not.

This game is pretty much completely devoid of real life, it's simply a building and survival simulator. It has no aspects of the real occult so no, I don't feel comfortable around the occult I don't see it in this game. By the way please don't make assumptions and say stuff like "Maybe you feel comfortable around the occult." That is not at all what I was saying.

Witches, potions, zombies (little devils) are part of real life however. And I am concerned with anyone who thinks they can excuse something that has a direct link to the satanic world.

It doesn't have a direct link to the satanic world, it's make believe. By claiming everything has a demonic connection, however tenuous the connection, you make real demonic powers more powerful by hiding them behind a smokescreen of made up connections.

@Eleventh Doctor, I think you should just let people think what they're gonna think. There is no convincing.

I wish I could read that, but I can't. *grins*

@MissFriendship, I understand your apparent dislike of the game. I have never been comfortable with the "monsters" either. However Minecraft opens up your mind and allows you to create whatever you wish. I have built mass structures, which might even prepare me for designing in the future. But still, I either play on peaceful survival, or creative mode. The game is not completely evil, as you were inferring.

Why can't you read it? It's in Minecraft. A full translation can be found in Commander Keen Episode 3.

There is still the witchcraft element.

Commander Keen? What is that?

Ah yes. I forgot about that, since they are so rare, and I normally play PE. Just add that to my conclusion thingy I posted above. Heh. *glares at witchcraft*

Everyone knows that every time you kill a witch in Minecraft, you place another candle on your pentagram.

Seriously though is there no difference between playing a game with vaguely spiritual connotations and conversing with the devil?

Well as you always say Miss Friendship, but never seem to actually practice, who are you to judge?

I don't feel its judging so much as warning. I'm only being absolutely honest...to say I am fine with it would be hypocritical....

Something I learned when I was 5, if you don't have something nice to say don't say anything at all. You don't have to be hypocritical but neither do you need to judge, or warn so harshly.

Where's the difference between something mean and something that needs to be said?

There's this thing called tact, you might have heard of it. Example: saying "you suck at this" is impolite, right? But what if it needs to be said? You can rephrase it as to not be as offensive and somewhat rude by saying something along the lines of "hey, I think you should work on this."

Yes, yes, I get your point. Tact is something I use a lot around here...just maybe not enough, according to some of you... :?
