I watched My Neighbor Totoro. Japanese movies are very creepy, but it had some appeal.

I saw most of Scooby Doo 2. I say this with confidence: that it was literally the. dumbest. movie. ever.

I watched Billy: The Early Years. It was pretty good.
I was happy they actually got good, well known actors. Not just someone that says they like to act.

I watched Mr. Peabody & Sherman on Netflix two days ago and it was okay.

Yeah, it was okay. The whole concept was strange.Novatom wrote:I watched Mr. Peabody & Sherman on Netflix two days ago and it was okay.
I didn't really think it was that strange. All the time-traveling was confusing, like I didn't get how the people from the past showed up in the present, or why that weird thing happened when the two Shermans touched each other. I guess a genius dog who adopts a kid is kind of weird though...Sameriazx wrote:Yeah, it was okay. I love that movie. It has so many Doctor Who references; it's hilarious. And the thing that happened when the two Shermans touched each other is explained in a DW episode called "Father's Day", where Rose touched herself as a baby and it caused a paradox.Novatom wrote:I watched Mr. Peabody & Sherman on Netflix two days ago and it was okay.
I've never watched Doctor Who before. My mom thinks that it is strange and creepy, so we can't watch it.ClaraOswald wrote:I love that movie. It has so many Doctor Who references; it's hilarious. I watched The Little Mermaid on TV last night. For a long time it's been the only Disney princess movie I haven't seen, so I've always wanted to watch it but I've been somehow unable to get my hands on it.
It was good, but there were far fewer songs than I first thought. I've been really wanting to watch it so I was actually slightly disappointed because I was expecting something much better than it was. The end where Ursula got the big gold fork thingy and she became big was slightly anti-climatic, especially considering the way they finished her was just by throwing a harpoon in her. I also was thinking about how few lines the actress playing Ariel had, as she was mute for like over half the movie.

There was a reason it was put on Netflix right after it came out.Novatom wrote:I watched Mr. Peabody & Sherman on Netflix two days ago and it was okay.
I watched Brother Bear.

Isn't that a really old movie? I remember seeing the preview for it a while ago...

Fast & Jelly are at it again. This time they face the evil fast clickers. Can fast be faster? Is Jelly too slow to turn them into jelly? Find out this week on Fast & Jelly! --> Penguin

Brother Bear was released in 2003. (And I was born in 2003, so yeah that was a while ago.) I've never seen it though.therealpaulajarvis wrote:Isn't that a really old movie? I remember seeing the preview for it a while ago...

A "while ago"? Are you trying to make me feel old?Novatom wrote:Brother Bear was released 2003. (And I was born in 2003, so yeah that was a while ago.) I've never seen it though.therealpaulajarvis wrote:Isn't that a really old movie? I remember seeing the preview for it a while ago...

I would define any movie as a really old one if it was in the70s or so.. not anywhere before..

I wouldn't say that Brother Bear is really old either, but it definitely isn't a new movie. I consider a new movie from about 2010-the present. I would consider movies made from the 20th century old, unless they are computer-animated, which makes a movie look far more modern.Belle wrote:I would define any movie as a really old one if it was in the70s or so.. not anywhere before..

Who me?? No! I'm not trying to make you feel old...Well not intentionally anyway...Belle wrote:A "while ago"? Are you trying to make me feel old? That's only 12 years ago.

To me 12 years is a long time!

Yes, most parents do. Like, 90% of my friends aren't allowed to watch it, so you're not alone.Sameriazx wrote:I've never watched Doctor Who before. I was six at the time. I remember that preview, and the preview for The Emperor's New Groove, which was made in 2000, I believe. I'M SO OLD *cries*therealpaulajarvis wrote:Isn't that a really old movie? I remember seeing the preview for it a while ago...
I was 5 months old when Brother Bear came out. Wow, I'm feeling young...ClaraOswald wrote:I was six at the time.
