I agree about Blue Christmas but please, again, leave the poll as it is

Oh yes, of course. I couldn't even edit it anyway. Should we set up dates for when we will start reading and when we will finish, once we determine who all the people participating are?

I vote for a Bridge to Terribithia. I 've never heard of A Blue Christmas.

When should we read our first book, and how long does everyone need to read it? I would need a week at the very least, since I'm reading other books as well.

A week or so would be okay. It can't be too relaxed either.

I think 2 weeks is good. I have school work and other things in my life so I can't just spend all day reading a good book anymore.

So, which is it? Wrinkle or Terebithia? If it's Terebithia, I'm already done. ;) Lovely book. So I'm for Wrinkle in Time. Shall we go with that?

I suggest my book, Point A to Point B. It's incredibly obscure, and none of you will be able to find it at your local library, so you'll all have to buy it and make me rich :D

Or not.

For future suggestions, I've been meaning to read some Sherlock Holmes and maybe some Agatha Christie, if anyone would be interested. :) Something like this might actually give me some motivation to read those. xD

We could all buy your book. :) I already have it.

Or we could do my book. ;) It's no longer free though.

I've read most of the Sherlock Holmes books but they're good. I love Agatha Christie--I've read quite a few of her books but I'd always like to read more. They aren't very long, either.

Any suggestions? I was thinking I'd start with some Poirot.

With Poirot--The Mysterious Affair at Styles is the first one. And then there's the famous Murder on the Orient Express.
I also recommend They Came to Baghdad and N or M?

I think we were going to start January 1. If we decide on a book by then that is. :)

I would rather start on January 3rd, if that's alright. I love the idea of Agatha Christie, but please refrain from making suggestions until we've finished a couple books from the poll. It looks like Bridge To Teribithia won. That particular book is pretty short, so it shouldn't take anyone more than a week to read. PF can sit that week out if he must, or we can do Frankenstein or Wrinkle In Time.

We'll start Bridge To Teribithia on January 3rd and start discussion in a new thread on the 10th. We'll do Frankenstein and Wrinkle In Time after that.
