Let's have a conversation.
What is everyone's favorite Emily episode? Even if we don't like Emily, we can still appreciate the episodes she's in for their story and lesson.

I liked Big Trouble Under the Big Top. It was nice in the middle of a tough album to have a good "who dunnit" episode.

The Green Ring Conspiracy, by far. I also liked Great Expectations. I've actually never heard Big Trouble Under the Big Top. Of course, Emily's presence always tarnishes episodes at least a little, but those episodes were inherently good enough to be somewhat unscathed by the tornado of mediocrity and distasteful episodes she brings with her every movement.

I always liked The Lost Riddle. It's an interesting mystery that features the triumphant return of Dale Jacobs to AIO as a regular character.

Oh, yeah, I forgot about that one. I kind of skipped over Album 57, since it came at a time when I didn't really care about AIO. I'm pretty sure I've only heard about half of the episodes once, and the other half not at all. I should get that one and go back and listen to it, just in case there are any Emily gems.

Yes the Lost Riddle is good. I also like Game for a Mystery. I think it was the first episode that Emily appeared.

It wasn't my favorite, but mostly because of gems like Barrett's lack of an indoor voice and Emily noticing the indentations on people's thumbs. (But mostly Barrett, whose screaming was thankfully dropped...maybe Andy just had a bad day in the studio?

Or maybe Kirby Atkins is under the impression that all children have ADD and anger issues.

Is that because it was the first episode with Emily?ArnoldtheRubberDucky wrote:It was. I hated Game For A Mystery.
She was alright in the GRC. My favorite episode with her is the GRC pt 9.

What is forever..? I shall see you again. Just after the mist has faded and time has stopped, over on the other side. Enjoy your journey and I'll enjoy mine.

As of late, PF has been far less outspoken on the subject of Emily than he usually is. Perhaps it's just because of his waning use of the Soda Shop. Or maybe he finally saw the light and realized the truth of the proverb "Emily stinks!"

PF can't give up on Emily. It's entirely contrary to his nature and it will sadden me.
If he gave up on Emily, then PF would no longer be PF and that would be among the greatest tragedies ever to strike this board.

PF equates Emily. No wonder he is foolish. PF is the ERK.

Seemingly not anymore. He hasn't posted there in a little while, and the frequency of his posts is dropping steadily. I'd say that, in war terms, PF is Napoleon, I'm Duke of Wellington, and it's the Battle of Waterloo.

Did anyone else think the Emily was way, way, way less annoying in Vol 58? For the first time, she didn't really bother me at all! But it isn't that I've just gotten used to her or something; the old episodes still bug me just as much as they always did.

Yes, I thought that she was used very well in 58. She seemed like a real child character while still retaining her curiosity, intelligence, and spunk.
