Penny and Wooton are exactly the same. I mean, what really differentiates the two, besides the fact that Penny is a female, and Wooton is a male. They both love the same stuff, they are both sorta childish, and they both are more than a little bit annoying. Penny and Wooton are absolutely perfect for each other. And since I'm not a big fan of either of them, I honestly wouldn't care if they got married, since I never really pay much interest to their little part of AIO. Just my honest opinion

This post was made almost a year ago and I still support it with all my being.

Penny and Wooton are exactly the same.

So are Wooton and Victoria, and funnily enough, half the fandom wants Victoria back. (I'm not speaking to you, Joy; your post simply got me thinking.) The most compelling thing about Victoria was that she was a girl whom Wooton wanted to date because they were almost clones of each other, but he couldn't go through with a relationship because she wasn't a Christian. That's...pretty much all there is to her character. Penny has had time to develop on her own as a character apart from her relationship with Wooton, and she has her own story as a person, which is more than I can say for the person that everyone seems to want to push together with Wooton.

I didn't mean that Penny and Wooton don't have different stories, or didn't lead different lives, but they have the exact same likes and dislikes, interests, attitudes, and outlooks on life. Where do they differentiate, and what can they disagree on? Also, Christianity-wise, Wooton seems to have a stronger and more developed faith then Penny does, not to mention some of Penny's seemingly skewed views.

Whether or not they enjoy Comic-Cons, probably. I get what you're saying. I think they differ, at least, in their outlooks on art; Wooton is into graphic art, while Penny seems to be more of a traditional artist. Also, Wooton's craziness isjust wackiness and fun personified; Penny mostly comes across as a Cloudcuckoolander.

Not major differences...but hey, I tried. :/

Ehhhh, you're right, but still, those aren't major differences. I just feel that most normal people have more significant differences than that. My friends and I share many similarities, but we also have a lot of big differences. And I feel that Wooton and Penny aren't different enough from each other to be very realistic.
