Music Videos?
Can Someone tell me why people make religious music videos? Why do we need that kind of stuff?

For the sole purpose of driving you into an unjustifiable frenzy of misplaced rage, undoubtedly.
it's not about 'deserve'. it's about what you believe. and i believe in love

Miss TigerShadow, give me reasons not mockery.
Why shouldn't they make music videos?
Music videos are fun to watch. Christian music videos give you the choice of, instead of wasting time on secular videos, having a Christian alternative.

Yes, but what are their reasons? Not to be rude, but do they want to be movie stars? Are they doing it for fun? Do they want to be a light to people? Or is it something else?

What's wrong with being a movie star?

I'm a Movie Star! I'm proud
A music video gives you exposure. If someone finds it on the internet and likes it, they will no doubt pass it on to their friends, and so on.
Also, I would think that it would give the members of the music group experience in performing live.

No, they want to be successful for doing what they love. It's called "business principles".

You can be a movie star and not be proud.
I mean would you say making art in general is wrong since other people will be looking at it?

No, but movie stars, singers, actors, celebraties, etc. tend to be very proud - why wouldn't they?

You tend to subscribe motives to entire groups of people without considering that individuals can be different. That's not a good thing.

Not everything in the world is motivated by pride, and you assuming that I, and other people share their work simply for recognition is offensive.John Henry wrote:And so they want to be praised by other people I see...
Now, maybe some people do have prideful motivations, but there is a small other part that you haven't considered, and that's the fact that people want to share their work with other people.
Besides, what's the point of being an artist for a career if you're not allowed to share your work in the hopes that some people might enjoy it and buy some of your work. It has nothing to do with pride or wanting to be praised.
Quit ascribing motives to other people just because they work in a certain business! One bad apple doesn't mean the rest of the batch is diseased!John Henry wrote:No, but movie stars, singers, actors, celebraties, etc. tend to be very proud - why wouldn't they?

How do they make such? o_O
How do they make what? And you didn't respond to any of my points.
Generally, the performers will be gathered together and filmed performing the song. This recording may be left in the complete video, but most times it is overdubbed by an already completed studio recording.
See? There's nothing sinful about the idea of a music video, it's just the content of it that matters.
