What is your favorite Emily episode? (see poll)

As much as I love GRC, mine would have to be Emily the Genius. It's an awesome episode, because it shows just how far Emily will go to try to make her family proud of her. It really shows that even though Emily may act super-confident, she is still insecure at times.

As to Matthew, what do you mean, "let" him solve them? You speak as if Emily were somehow holding Matthew back, being selfish and keeping to many resolutions to herself. What's wrong with Matthew being a mechanic whereas Emily is a detective? We all have our talents.

Maybe she did... But the point that I don't like Emily is still the same... U probably like Emily too, but in my personal opinion, I kinda dislike her character

Wow, this cover is pretty cute, aside from Emily. I mean, what on earth is going on with her face?
I really hope it looks better in person. I just used a color corrector on it and she looks 100 times better:

I am officially joining the ERK! I need to know all of your terms for different things. What should I call my fellow ERK members? What do I call KRE members? Does Emily have a special title? Are there people with special roles or functions in the ERK, and what are their titles?

My vote for Emily's best performance was for the Green Ring Conspiracy. I felt that her presence was perfect, with the appropriate amount of Emily-ness. She went well with Matthew, both when they were contrasted and working together. In a more general sense, they played an important role within the Green Ring Conspiracy, but not in a way that made it unbelievable or over the top.

I enjoyed Big Trouble under the Big Top, but not to the extent as the Green Ring Conspiracy. We were able to get a little more insight into Emily's thinking process and how she solves mysteries. This had previously been one of the main things I wanted improved about Emily's character, so I was quite happy after listening to the episode. The episode overall was not fantastic, but still above average.

I generally don't like the AiO visual representations of the characters. I tend to picture them myself when I listen to an episode, and their representations don't go very well with mine. Emily is one of the better ones, I think, but the new Eugene looks nothing like my picture of him.

ERK members = Fellow Emily-lovers, Emily-loving advocates of ERK, or just ERKers. As for KRE, I call them KREers, but there are other names that PF has come up with, that you may or may not want to use.
I've added you to the official ERK membership list, so you'll be sure to get important PMs and such.
Not sure if we have a special name for Emily aside from, well, Emily.
As for rankings, I suppose I should announce a project that I have been attempting to put together for a few months now.

To anyone who is in the ERK, and would like a certain rank, please PM me with it.
Ranks can be anything from Head of ERK Weapons to Master of Emily Arguments to Executive Cookie Baker.
This is only the first part of my project, and if you do not send me a ranking of your own, I will make one up for you, or you may be listed as someone else's partner/assistant.

I must agree, especially with Harlow Doyle and the new Eugene. But some others, like Connie* and Bart were spot on, at least for me. Emily has lucked out most of the time and gotten decent artwork, but I must agree with Helios and say they need to stop drawing her freckles so big, they look painted on.

So, as you may have seen...

There is an election on to select the top five characters. Right now, the hugely popular Jay is already shooting ahead.

Barrett, Camilla, Olivia, Priscilla and Nelson are no worry. Matthew and, most of all, Jay however are serious contendors. Jay is going to be super hard to beat. He's about as well rounded, likable and fascinating as Emily, and far funnier than her (and nearly any other character.) The funny part is our biggest problem. People are suckers for humor, even if the character himself is not necessarily better than others.

But Emily is underrated, incredibly special, and needs to win! We can do this!
