Gratia, yeah, just the first one. I wanted to check it out and be sure I'd enjoy it before loading up the whole kaboodle (besides, my arms were aching from all the other books I was carrying!)

Oooooo, Stella, you lucky girl! I'd love to have a shirt from Camp Half-Blood! :D Have you guys seen the movies yet?

HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS? I want a Camp-Half-Blood T-shirt sooo bad! My sister made one and was Annabeth for Halloween last year. Do you like the Heroes of Olympus?

Yeah. I don't like the first, but the second was okay.

Oooo! I so wanna watch the movies! (even though he's like way too old, but it's still exciting!) :D Who's y'alls favorite characters? I like Percy a lot, but Annabeth is great, too. I wish Luke hadn't gone bad.... :(

Ooooo, prophecy!

I think one of the reasons I like The Lightning Thief so much is the humor. Like, the Oracle of Delphi is in the ATTIC!!! I almost died laughing. :D And Percy is “one with the plumbing!” Bhahahahahaha!!!

Not to mention all the hilarity going on in the camp. “All unregistered campers will be eaten by harpies.” LOL....and I actually don't know what a harpy is... ;)

So, is the Heroes of Olympus...is that the series about Percy? Or is that another one? Cause I know there are two, I just get them mixed up sometimes. :D

It's like a continuation of the series. There are a lot of the same characters, such as Tyson, Percy, Annabeth, and Nico, but new characters are also introduced. They are just as good as the first series! Ahhhh I love them... Uncle Rick is my favorite author.

They're actually small chicken-like creatures (last I checked) ;) The one Percy found ended up being a walking dictionary of books.

I just finished HoH, and can't WAIT for Blood of Olympus (Gahhh!)! The first movie was BLEH, the second was OK.... But the books are WAY better! Althoughhhh I would advise NOT liking the fanpage on FB, both for awful teasers and it's basically a bunch of spam.

Lol, I don't even have an FB account. :D

Uncle Rick? Whoa, dude, Mara, you're not actually related, right? :)

What was Annabeth like in the movies? She and Percy didn't have any romantic nonsense going on, did they? ;)

I strongly disliked Annabeth in the movies =/ Her character was totally different from the book! She had brown hair and who knows what color eyes. Then in the second movie they died her hair blonde.
Helios, a lot of fans call him Uncle Rick. I'm not actually related :D
And Stella, HoH was AMAZING! I loved it! Blood of Olympus is going to be so sad. The end of such a great series :(
I also agree about the FB page. I don't have a FB but I can still access the page for news. That's how I accidentally found out about Nico...

Shhh, Mara, don't ruin it.

I loved the HoH too! I cannot wait until the Blood of Olympus. And Uncle Rick says he's starting a Norse mythology series in 2015! Have you read the crossover story between Carter Kane and Percy?

Oops
I haven't been able to find it! Son of Sobek, right? I LOVE the Kane Chronicles too!
Shall we move this discussion to the "Percy Jackson" topic?

I'm fond of Percy Jackson, the premise is ingenious. The books are lively and just plain fun start to curtain, the two that I've read at least.
Re-reading Dorian Gray as I got it for Christmas, yay. I also got Wuthering Heights, I read the intro and first few pages and so far it seems great, so I'll try and get to that soon. I also just read Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone, I look forward to reading the next in the series.

LOL :P

Has anyone read the Shadow Children series by Margaret Peterson Haddix? I LOVE those books... :D

I'm reading "Goose Girl." It's a remake of a Brothers Grimm fairy tale. It's really quite interesting so far. (I'm about half way through.)
