Just got out from watching the Desolation of Smaug midnight showing. It was awesome. Waaaay better than the first. Legolas was awesome in it. I spotted Peter Jackson's cameo and just shouted "It's Peter Jackson!!" Right in the middle of the theater. Ha ha. Anyway. Legolas was just plain awesome decapitating countless orcs. Too much CGI though and the movie still didn't follow the book. But the movie was better than the first , but not as good as the LOTR trilogy.

I was going to go watch it sunday. (Don't worry, I respect the sabbath on "sabbath", that is Saturday) But my local cinema plays it every day except for sunday! and its the only day that my sister is available to watch it!
i guess we go monday.
last night I watched Mission: Impossible (the furst).

"but not as good as the LOTR trilogy." - that is what i was afraid of :(

Just finished The Desolation of Smaug!
It was great! I really liked the action/violence! A lot of head-chopping awesomeness! And Tauriel was pretty awesome! Though I was hoping the spiders in Mirkwood would be scarier. I really liked one of the parts with Sauron. Awwwesome!
I really can't wait to see the third one!
But just something about the first one seemed better. Maybe it was just the anticipation of years of waiting for The Hobbit movies to come out. Something like that. I don't know. But I disagree, Noah. The first one was better, in my opinion.

I SAW IT!!! It was AMAZING! Legolas was actually... Appealing! (I wasn't terribly attracted to him in LOTR...) Bilbo was fantastic! The spiders were fabulous! Beorn was cool, Bard was amazing, Smaug was epic... Yup, I liked it!

Did either of you spot Peter Jackson? He was in the very first scene. He passed right by the camera munching a carrot. But yeah...

Ben, I know right. Seeing Legolas and Tauriel decapitating orcs together was awesome.

So I can assume you didn't like Princess and the Frog, huh? :P :P

Ya know, maybe Merida would have looked better with Shaun Cassidy hair...like yours... *runs away from Metal wielding the M-60*

Yo, Schnoodlec, there is romance in Frozen, no? :) I mean, why else would blond hunks be in it? And you can't deny that Kristoff is VERY blond...and cute. :P

I saw the Desolation of Smaug yesterday. Meh. It was good, I thought it was fun, but I dunno, it seemed a little too...much. Stuff about it seemed unnecessary. I felt like it was just going for having as much action as possible with hardly any flavor to the story. <--My opinion.

I saw The Desolation of Smaug to today. It was good movie overall but to much was added, especially Tauriel I got tired of her by the third scene she was in.

Noah, I saw PJ the first time but wasn't sure it was him! Haha he looks so healthy... But I did see him :) (btw, I thought the reference to the first LOTR was humerus ;))

I just saw the Hobbit, and I really liked it. They did change some things from the book, but it wasn't like the Percy Jackson movie (thank goodness). The actors were really good, especially Gandalf. All in all, I enjoyed it.
