Thank you, Mr. T.S. That sort of behavior should be dealt with VERY sternly. :x

(P.S. I indeed changed my avi and sig to my favorite character to my new favorite, newer Disney )

I just saw Frozen last night!!! It was great! I LOVED the music! The part where Elsa was singing and creating her 'domain' was AMAZING!
Overall, I probably liked Tangled more, but Frozen was still great!
(I do wish they had made Anna and Elsa a little more.... Non typical Disney skinny. I think Frozen would have been a perfect opportunity to expand the main heroine body type, but no... Maybe next time... Or when pigs fly! Haha)

I'm sorry, GratiaDei, but My Little Pony hating will not be tolerated.

I thought the SS was supposed to be tolerant.

Anyway, I watched the Avengers again yesterday when I was sick. Definitely one of my favorite movies of all time.

I have a feeling you're talking about a generation 3 movie. Or Equestria Girls, both of which might not appeal to everyone. (I liked Equestria Girls, but many other MLP fans don't. But if it was mostly ponies in the movie, not ponies turned human, then it was from another generation, not Friendship is Magic)

And I watched Frozen, too. =)

I was not aware that there was more than one MLP movie. I'm pretty sure it was whatever the new one is with the Popsicle colored humans. The creepy orange one stole the crown from Twilight Sparkle and then at the end she went all weird and made one of the girls I was babysitting have bad dreams. Not super impressed. And I don't think I will ever like MLP, but I don't oppose you guys liking it.

ELF IS AWESOME. And, I saw Frozen. I am enchanted in the way the animators had Elsa use her powers. It was amazing.

I. Saw. Frozen. It was amazing!! The characters were great, and Elsa is my new favorite Disney princess. The animation was breathtaking, and they used snow and ice, my favorite ever! And the music. Beautiful and fun new Disney songs left and right. And I couldn't stop laughing at Olaf. Frozen is now in an exact tie with Tangled for my favorite Disney movie.

This afternoon I watched LEGO Star Wars: The Padawan Menace. Hysterically entertaining and full of wonderful Yoda lines. "Tired of being right all the time I am."

For those of you Frozen in love...seriously? A Disney 3D-animated movie? I mean...yeah...it's Narnia-ish with tons of snow...um...a girl with whacked-out super powers...and some cute blond guys. But still...I don't know...I guess I look for something with a lot of substance in it (Rambo, anyone?).

I don't know. Romantic fairy tales aren't really my thing anymore. Give me a lightsaber, duel swords, or a girl with super-intelligence over a girl with super-cool (in a totally punny sense of the word).

;)

I want to see Frozen myself, but I may have to wait for it to come out on DVD :(

Last movie I watched was Snow White and thhe Huntsman. It was pretty good (Chris Hemsworth made the whole thing worth seeing ;) l

Woah-woah-woah...

First off, slap your tongue...

I don't think you realize what Frozen actually is.

Secondly, what do you mean by 'substance'?

While I've never heard of Rambo, it's voted R, so I'd never see it anyways....Frozen is PG, and absolutely family friendly.

If you mean, values, then yeah, Frozen is packed full of them.

Frozen talks about true love...
Not just lovey-dovey love, but love between family, love in it's purest form...the thing that ultimately ends up saving Anna, is NOT a kiss from the dreadful Hans, or even a kiss from Kristoff, but by saving her sister from Hans, by sacrificing her life, to save Elsa's...she could have just kissed Kristoff, and may have lived..but she put herself in Elsa's place.

Sure, it mentions the fact, that Kristoff loved Anna enough to bring her to Hans, to kiss Hans, and probably end up marrying Hans..he gave her up, because he thought it was what was best for her.

Olaf stayed with Anna, and started a fire, even though he was going to melt, because he loved her and cared about her.
Finally, Frozen features heroine's who aren't perfect..who have real problems... I sympathize with Elsa so much, in her fears, and with Anna..being awkward, heh, that's me too...

Frozen isn't 'just a romantic fairy tale'. Frozen is an epic movie. The best movie I've seen in years.

(And yes, if 'action' is your thing, they do get chased by a giant snow monster. :P)

Yo, Stella! You like the Australian soap-opera dude? :P

Hiya God's Girl! *tries to talk with her tongue slapped* (ever seen Ella Enchanted? where she holds her tongue...literally???)

Okay, now I'll be serious. *conjures up expression of solemnity*

First off, I've only read one review for Frozen. But you can't trust reviews (not like Plugged-In, this was on Washington Times). So, I got the impression it was a normal Disney snow-flick (or flake?). Now that you talk about it some more, I'm thinking of changing my stance.

Just thinking.

Secondly, by substance, I mean something that has true, real meaning in the real world. Something that matters. Something that...that...I can take away from that movie and know I've done well in managing my time by watching it.

Does that make sense? :?

I'd love to debate the Rambo thing, but that can wait. I guess my whole point is, I don't really identify with movies with Frozen. I'm not a little princess-girl or an ice-princess-girl or anything.

I'm more like...Black Widow from Marvel's Avengers. I have red on my ledger. I am not perfect...not even in a Disney not-perfect sense. It's something so much deeper and darker than that.

Metal15...you're a 17-year-old guy. Frozen? Are you serious??? 8O

Okay, I'll admit, I'm curious to see it now. And I have an adult guy friend who wants to watch Brave. *rolls eyes*

BTW, you can have the M-60. I'll chose that knife of his any day (and maybe the rifle the Afghani kid had). OH, and his compound bow with exploding arrow tips. I'm in Paradise. ;)

What you've said does make sense, but Frozen does have a lot to offer. I still think you should give it a try. If you don't like it, you don't like it, but don't knock it 'till you try it. :P

(And btw, my friend Limerick, who went to 'see' it with me...is a guy..who is 29..so, yeah.)
