Well, I just wear whatever I feel like wearing... it could be jeans and a graphic tee, or a dress. Actually, tomorrow is our church's day where the kids wear their PJs...
I belive you should not just throw on something very un-attractive for church because you don't care, but it should not be very important what you war. But this is just my opinion...
Oh, and for Truth & Training (aka Awana) I go very casual, just shorts, a tee shirt, and my Awana vest.

Most of my friends wear casualish clothes, but my parents (being a bit more formal- americans) make me wear nice clothes.
But for youth group its the opposite (wierd huh O_O) my friends wear "nice" (nice for Israeli, NOT formal, meaning Gel in thier hair and dark jeans and nice shoes, and a shirt with something unreadable printed on thier shirts) , I come less than casual, in ripped shorts and a dirty shirt.
*please excuse all "thier" instead of "their", I always mess that one up.

The Bible says in 1 Timothy 2:9 and 1 Peter 3:3 that women should dress in modest apparel. Yet, many women are wearing immodest apparel in our day...even to church! And also the Bible says in Deuteronomy 22:5 "The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the LORD thy God. " Don't forget 1 Corinthians 11:14-15 "Doth not even nature itself teach you, that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering. "
So are you going to wear your robes with four tassels made of one type of cloth, not two mixed together, to church next Sunday? I mean you do follow all of the Old Testament rules for dress right? To do otherwise would be hypocritical.

I can think more of what I'm learning about if I'm comfortable and not fidgeting to make sure I look nice to the people around me (which is usually why I dress-up, I confess). So, jeans or a skit with a t-shirt. (which is kinda our church with exceptions of a couple of people)

I wear pretty casual--our church is prett laid back ;they make it a point to be welcoming to everyone, especially seekers. I grew up in a pretty conservative church though where we dressed up every Sunday and could wear more casual for youth group etc. it is kinda nice to dress up sometimes but I often serve in the nursery and jeans and casual top are more practical--leaning down babies spitting up on shirts etc.
You don't have to be Amish to have that kind of dress code. Many churches are like that.
I usually wear a knee-length dress of some kind; my shoes change depending on the weather. My church isn't very strict about dress code, though; most women wear dresses and most men wear dress shirts, dress pants, and ties (coat optional), but it's not unusual to see someone come to our church wearing jeans.

Ya sorry don't want to seem nasty to Amish. i have some Amish friends
I work parking lot security everyother week and in the summer when its in the 100 plus i were slacks and polo
when I usher i have a vest tie and pants
Midweek is Polo and slacks.
im 30 i dont own a pair of jeans nor graphic tees the only non work tees i have are all Jiu Jitsu based so i know which are work and whihc are work out shirts..
Dress shirt/nice T-shirt (nice = no graphics) w/longish skirt.
On Wednesdays our church does AWANA (does anybody else on here do that?)
and doing the games is pretty much impossible in long skirts, so jeans and t-shirt here.

My church doesn't really care what you wear, (unless it's horribly immodest, like "denim underwear" some people call shorts lol) so I wear black/dress pants, sometimes short, depending on the weather, and a nice t-shirt or something.
Hopefully this is in the right place, but since it is kind of about church, I decided I'll put it here. (And, sorry if this topic has already been made, haha.)
So, my question is, what do you wear for church?
For me, I grew up only wearing dresses while everyone around me wore jeans. But around the age of twelve, I outgrew all of my skirts, and now, I usually wear a non-ripped pair of jeans and a nice shirt. Occasionally a dress now and then, but that's rare. d=
