The E.R.K. (Emily Rules Klub)
In case you didn't notice, the KRE hasn't been posted on in weeks, and your website was never posted on except for the introduction. In that light, the KRE is much worse off than the ERK.

What website, Seasie? If you happen to be referring to TNT, you're dreadfully mistaken....
And, Liz'alike, that little statement about Odyssey being a small town is faulty: http://fjayodysseyreport.blogspot.com/2 ... ation.html

If you could have any character join th J&P Detective Agency, who would you choose?
I think they're cute together. I wouldn't want to see them "together" until they're older... but I really like Buck!Pound Foolish wrote:ERK Special Topic Starter
Are Emily and Buck a good pair? If not, who should she be paired with?

I was just using the typical phrase of "the small town of Odyssey." I realize Odyssey isn't at all small! Yet at the same time they acknowledge it as a small town. Just listen to album 50.The Old Judge wrote:And, Liz'alike, that little statement about Odyssey being a small town is faulty:
Anywho, off subject of our beloved Emily! EMILY RULES!

I was referring to the KRE website, which was made back when it was still ESK. I don't even know if it's still up, but it did not have any posts whatsoever....The Old Judge wrote:What website, Seasie? If you happen to be referring to TNT, you're dreadfully mistaken....

ERK (Enrapturingly Radically Kool) Announcement
http://whitsendblog.org/
The Official Adventures in Odyssey Podcast has launched an episode featuring a preview of the newest Jones and Parker mystery. A runner up of an AIO writing contest, Katie Wynn, talks about writing the Emily-starring show. Well known Odyssey team member Bob Hoose, the judge of the contest, briefly mentions how much he likes the character Emily, as well as Cristina's performance. You turn it on, you geek out and shake all about. You do the ERK and you turn yourself around, that's what it's all about!

I would like to point out that the previous post on the ERK topic was only five days before. The ERK is still very much alive, while the KRE hasn't been posted on in over a month. And PF has done an admirable job in posting conversation starters, and keeping the ERK lively and interesting. *claps for our great president*The Old Judge wrote:Pound Foolish, my oh my. I never thought I would see the day that a bunch of other topics would stack on top of the mighty ERK. (Translation: Yeah! They're done with the immaturity!")
It's time to see the handwriting on the wall, sir. Your mighty empire has crumbled. The ERK site has not been updated since May, and the KREers have invaded this topic. All good things must come to an end, I suppose..... Though in Great Expectations Emily improved in my sight. Hopefully this will continue.

Well, I actually can't remember when I heard my first Emily episode, but I do know what episode it was, it was the Verminoids game one, with the hawk. And that has gotta be my favorite! I've been a member of this site for a while but I have mostly just read the message boards. Now I'm gonna step out!

I believe that episode is "Game for a Mystery." A beautiful Emily classic!
I applaud you, shnoodlec for stepping out and making your fandom known *claps hands*! You are truly an inspiration!
@GratieDei & PF: I also applaud PF! PF, you are a wonderful president! My hat goes off to you!

Snoodlek, it's good to have you. You are now an Emilyophile. (All clap.)
But it's not. I don't know if you've seen the Game For a Mystery topic, but this is quite a two sided issue. The episode isn't the junk people try to make it out to be. Not liking something doesn't make it bad. Some people don't enjoy Beethoven.

The new episode came out online! Those of you who have it digitally, you may have heard it some time ago.
This episode is automatically special in that its fan made by one Katie Wynn. There's a geeky joy to hearing an episode done by someone else, a random fan just like you, who loves these characters.
It had some nice humorous moments, a fast pace and colorful new character.
and the ending was even more twisting with surprises than a usual J&P mystery. Indeed, it was a good mystery all around, with both subtle and obvious clues.
What did you all think? Praise? Criticism? Observations? Do you think Emily closing the episode with a ringmaster manner is a foreshadowing of her becoming a human cannonball?

I was really impressed with the episode. It was fun, and lighthearted, and I enjoyed it immensely. I especially liked Emily's style in her detective work. She's becoming even more awesome in my mind, and she struck me as really talented (not that she wasn't before) in this episode, and even a little bit more mature. I hadn't realized it was written by someone new, it sounded just like any other episode, cool! I was also a little bit confused at first by Matthew's voice. Is it the same actor?

Emily rules!(as do all the other characters)

Wonderful. You are now Maradog the Emilyophile. Here, have a green tutu. It's our official uniform.
What are your thoughts on Emily and on the new episode?
Does anyone else have thoughts on the new episode?
I think it RULES! (Wow. No way. Did you see what I just said? I am so unpredictable.)

I really like Emily. I think she is a great character and has a great personality! I love her curiosity and how she loves helping everybody out when they need a mystery solved
As far as the new episode, if you mean Repent After Me, I really enjoyed this episode! I loved seeing Barrett and Emily work together so well. And it was a fascinating mystery.
If you mean Big Trouble Under the Big Top, I didn't like it all.
(Don't hate me!*hides behind chair*) It was boring and didn't draw me in. Though I did like that Matthew was in this episode since he wasn't in any of the other ones.

Though I don't mind Jones & Parker episodes, (I'm a typically genial person, and it takes a lot to bother me.), you would think you people would take a hint when a new J&P comes out and everybody cybergroans. Oh, well. Ignorance is bliss.
