I caught up with Emily for comment...
Me: "What do you think of all this huge amount of controversy about you? What is it about you that makes people so opinionated about you?"
Emily: I guess I'm hard to ignore. I let my voice be heard. (winks)
Me: "What do you say to all the personal attacks on you? And what do you think of the leaders of the Emily Hating movement, Mr. Thinker, Whittifer, and Wooton?"
Emily: "They stink! (laughs) I guess they make some points... though they're rather rude. I mean, they sound like Jay. Can't you just hear him, if he was president of ESK? 'Emily stinks! Emily's bossy! Emily's ugly! Emily is mean! Emily blackmails!... Although it is true I blackmailed Matthew. Sorry, Pound. It was for his own good, though.... sort of."
Me: "How do you feel of being not only one of the very first characters elected, but to become the first and only character elected three times?"
Emily: "Fantastic. I'm touched. A big thank you to all of ERK... Suzy, Gabby, God's Girl, Aftershocker... you're all great. I mean, how many characters... just... thanks. So much. And, best of all, Barrett hasn't even won once!"
