Gabrielle, are you sure that he is Zach? I'm not quite sure.
If it is though, how did she get to act with him?
ETA: I really doubt it. At 1:30, I got a screenshot of his face:

It is. I've seen other pictures of Zach, and they look more like the bottom one than the top. Look at this one:

I only voted twice. RATS. Today's the last to vote, guys!
Thank you for starting this topic, Meltsnergirl, you saved me some work.
I and my bro (Arkan!, for those of you left who still don't know!) are totally dedicated Anya fans. She's our absolute favorite. and we're hoping 100% that she wins. We disagree on many other points, though. For instance, Eliesa practically had me in hysterics of laughter, but Arkan was unimpressed. The way Eliesa led into her gum act with energy and excitement... and then her calm, melodramatic, tsk-tsking and sad near-whispering! I loved it, and that idiot Arkan said she was "boring" and finished all her sentences poorly!
However, naturally, all the kids showed real talent. (They did win against literally thousands of others.) One hard thing was trying not to be the least bit influenced by appearances. I and Arkan literally avoided watching the films while listening to their dialogue. It's practically impossible otherwise to unintentionally count their body acting into the equation.
I wonder how big the new role is. Will the new character just get a cameo, or a major role, or... maybe, just maybe... be a major recurring character? They've never really specified that, despite their millions of podcasts dedicated partially or entirely to Get In The Show. I wonder if they're planning on deciding that based on how the character develops with whatever show they're first in... or what!?

Annaliese was probably my favorite. Gosh, she was so sassy and cute! I'd love for her to win.
I was also wondering how big the roles the winner will play, as well. Does anyone remember that kid who won a get in the show contest before? He only had one line in "The Invisible Dog" didn't he?

I just watched them. I, in the end, voted for Elisha, Annalise, and Tabby. I can't fathom why you guys like Anya so much. I frankly found her performance bland, even with the slight accent. And I didn't like Elisha at first, but as her performance went on, I started to warm up to her melodramatics, and could tell she would be good in both comedic and dramatic scenes. And Tabby sounded like a perfect Odyssey girl, similar to Olivia, so I would like to see her win as well. And Annalise's spunk and sassiness was charming and perfect for a younger Liz. But, as you said, all of them have talent, though some did admittedly shine for me more than others. I do hope it will be a bigger role than in The Invisible Dog, particularly since they keep showing a silhouette of a character int he middle of Whit and the Parkers, symbolizing the winner. This hints they will have a bigger role. I hope it will be a recurring character, but I'm honestly not sure. I can't wait to see who wins! It's kind of cool, being a casual spectator with a fan blog watching these kids rise to stardom.

Did anyone notice that the many of the contestants sounded similar to other Odyssey characters?
For example:
Adrian reminded me of Pete, Annaliese reminded me of Heather, Elisha reminded me a little bit of Liz, Shona kind of sounded similar to Alice from Kidsboro, And Timmy really sounds like Max. Tabby reminded me of someone, but I can't put my finger on it.
I know that they're not quite spot on, but they're still pretty close.

I'm excited too. Go ANYA! We have the best taste on this board, no matter what certain Emily-Hating imbeciles say, right, Suz? I can see why you like Analiese so much. What a great attitude! Personally, I think my top, top fav other than Anya would be Marrina, what a ton of energy, melodrama, and expression!
I agree, Mr Thinker, that Tabby was great. But they all were. Kinda logical, since they beat out a competition of thousands.
Shona is great as well, glad she's in. Weird thing is, I just can't guess how old she is... could be anywhere from twelve to fourteen. Anyone have any guesses? Anyway, her controlling, goofy delivery with the gum scene nailed it, and she worked nicely with the pathos of the later scene as well.
But, come on! Anya relied almost entirely on her voice instead of doing a ton of moving and expressions, used accents, and her performance wasn't bland, just practical and restrained, you darn Thinker!.

I still wonder how old Shona is... Oh, and did anyone hear the add that played with the first part of The Perfect Church? While the contest was going, they kept saying things like "the next Odyssey voice" without actually clarifying what the role would be. NOW, they're revealing, casually, as if it didn't matter, that it's going to be ONE episode. Whoopy. I suspected as much. It seems they were going to really make a new character, like they indicated, they'd advertise that, instead of glazing over just how big the actual "character" will be. Talk about annoying merchandising tricks (with all do respect to Brock.
)
Oh well, it'll still be exciting to watch the live screening!

I was actually annoyed by the people who used their hands, PF. It was distracting and in a way unnecessary. But I simply didn't find Anya to be all that good, but, now that we know it's only one episode, I guess it doesn't really matter. That actually really ticks me off. I was hoping that it would be a recurring character, but I guess it's just like The Invisible Dog. What's the point of having a big process and multiple podcasts devoted to this contest when it's just over one episode? And all those ads! And the live show! Argh! I'm kind of disappointed with AIO on this one. Do you see this picture?

This clearly implies a larger role! So tell me why AIO would put that picture up for a one-episode cameo? This is unjust! *whew* Sorry. I just had my hopes dashed.

Voice actors use their hands all the time - watch the Green Ring Conspiracy BTS video and watch David Selby! Maybe, if the winner is really good, it'll turn into a recurring role!
