The only reason I put Katrina on there is because she was one of the best characters before the hiatus, but now she's one of the worst

A fire side to Katrina? Apparently, she was very different. Because, frankly, I'm not really sure what you're talking about. A more fiery Katrina would be great. But she seems to have gone to far in the opposite direction, alas.

Katrina is a fine character. To be honest, while I enjoy her immensely, I think I'd like her a bit more if she was more "spirited" occasionally. She shows some force once in a while... but, when she does, it's because then, everyone goes quiet. Because Katrina IS so subdued, now. When she's the least bit harsh, she's the total opposite of her attitude. When she disappeared, I was worried she'd gone bye bye with almost every pre-hiatus AIO character. I was relieved when she came back in GRC with such a major role. But the relief has gone away, and now, all that's left is a great fondness. I'm not crazy about her, like I am with a lot of the character. Maybe that's not bad, I dunno. I'll just have to start getting the early Katrina albums, and see what I think.
