Not really, it's more of a thing with guys younger than me or around my age. Siblings, cousins, friends. With an exception of a few fictional characters. Though I call everyone "honey."

No. His verses are reeking of horrid language and pure arrogance. There isn't anything encouraging, uplifting, or thought provoking in his work.
Furthermore, egomaniacs like him have created a poor image of what rap can be. And most people do think of Kanye and Jay-Z when rap is mentioned.

My name usually, and I really like affectionate terms such as "dear", "darling", or "honey." I mean, they can definitely sound patronizing if intended to, though with close friends I think it's used more out of endearment and somehow I really like that.
