Also, does anybody else like, hang out on the SS and repeatedly refresh the page to see if there are any new posts? I feel like I'm just poking at the whole message board like, "entertain me, dangit" .

I've found it to be a general rule that if you like algebra, you'll hate geometry, and if you like geometry, you hate algebra. I think I'm finally getting to a point where I no longer remember what a locus even is.

Lots of hard classes with lots of hard homework that will take up pretty much most of my free time, I am seeing so far.

I am not part of the general rule, then. I loved both algebra and geometry. How could I not? Maths! Graphs! Equations! And...things! Stuff! It was wonderful. I do dislike trig, tho.
I think a locus is a point on a ellipse? Or something?

I regret everything. Fam, if you're in high school, DON'T WORK. unless it's something like a once a week, three hour gig. Now that school has started up, I take like 17 credit hours and work 25 hours a week, and drive an hour each way to school for a fifty minute class. All I do is drive and work and do homework. RIP me. Seriously, focus on your schoolwork, peeps!

(Though if you're a senior you could probably work. Junior, never. Take it from past junior year me who dropped out of her chem class because she was getting a C and now has to retake it senior year. )

Last night we got home from AWANA at around 10:00. My 5-yr-old plopped down on the couch in our living room where my dad was watching the news. After a few minutes of sitting quietly, he looks up and asks quite seriously, "Now, who is Hillary Trumpet?"

My little brother, who's six, knew who he was and then asked if his plan for building a wall would stop us from going to the beach.

I'm starting Journey this year (High School)--what is Varsity? I've never heard of that... The age groups at my church go as such:
Cubbies: 3- and 4-year-olds
Sparks: K-2nd grade
Truth and Training (T&T): 3rd-6th grade
Trek: 7th and 8th grade
Journey: 9th-12th grade

Oh, well Varisty is actually Journey. That's the name my Awana calls it...*shrugs.*

My school calls it Interdisciplinary Studies, but it's basically a fancy way of saying Elementary Education!
