I'm back in Texas!

I moved 6 weeks ago and I'm here for a week to visit the BF and friends. Though oh my gosh, guys. Hold on to your hats, because it's time for another edition of: "'Woah, that really happened?!?!': Audrey's Crazy Story Time".
So, you know, I'm super excited to go to H-Town and see everyone again. My dad used his miles so I didn't have to pay, and he told me how to do everything there, but I was still nervous I would mess something up and end up losing my bag or something. This is my first ever time flying alone. Anyways, I go through security, check my bag, get on the plane, and...
-As we were pulling out of the terminal, the plane bumped something.
-It took an hour and a half for a technician to come out, look at it for two seconds, and say it was fine.
-Because of this, we weren't early enough to beat the storm in Houston.
-Because of the storm, we got re-routed to Corpus Christi before flying into Houston, which is right by the Mexico border.
-However, we didn't have enough fuel for that, so we had to refuel.
-Except, even though we were right over Dallas (a city A. I'm familiar with, and B. my boyfriend could have just driven up to get me), we turned BACK around and landed in Oklahoma city for what was supposed to be a quick 20 minute refuel.
-But because of this landing, the crew could no longer work. Their shift was up, they had flown for 12 hours, so we all needed to deplane until they could find another crew.
-They couldn't find another crew.
-They were trying to get all 100 of us on new flights, but there wasn't any room.
-I told them I was an unaccompanied minor considering it's illegal for me to rent a car, get a hotel room, etc etc, and the rude flight attendant lady told me to suck it up and sit with the big kids.
-I panic.
-They create a new flight...for the next morning. I am stuck in Oklahoma all night.
-I didn't eat bc my flight was going to be there in time for lunch, but instead, all of us sit in an airport for SIX HOURS (did i mention how between all the waiting and actual flight time, it took another SIX HOURS?!?!) for the airport to get their [censored] together and give us an entire $10 to spend on food, which we couldn't use because we couldn't leave the area we were in while we waited otherwise we wouldn't get a hotel voucher.
-Finally, by 10 pm, I take a shuttle to the hotel and sleep, happy that my flight is at 7 am, so I will still be there for my boyfriend's play at 9:40 am.
Next day. I wake up at TWO THIRTY IN THE FREAKING MORNING, because I have to be downstairs at the hotel to take a 4 am shuttle so we can get to the airport for our 6:30 boarding time.
-I wait outside with a bunch of chain smoking adults in some run down hotel in a terrible town in Oklahoma as they all share their life stories.
-We take the shuttle to the airport and do all that stuff, and everyone gets charged $30 to check their bag again except me (I am apparently a good sweet talker).
-I drink a LOT of coffee.
-I wait for the flight to board. Except...hmm. Our flight doesn't have a gate. By 6:15, they FINALLY assign it (15 min before we board), I run there, and...hmmm. It says there's another flight there, going to Denver. I ask the flight people and they say that this will be my flight, this one just has to leave.
-6:25. Boarding time. Denver flight just left.
-6:45. There isn't even a plane. I'm panicking, I only had 30 min of wiggle room before Alex (BF) could no longer pick me up, and his mom would have to get me 3 hours later.
-6:55. Still no plane, and I turn around to see a MASSIVE storm. Like, the clouds were pitch black, and the little bit of sky was green.
-7:15. I am [censored]. Finally board the plane.
-7:30. They say we can't take off. I tear up because I am officially going to miss the thing I planned my trip around.
-9:00 am, TWO HOURS LATER. We finally take off. I want to punch everyone.
-10:15 am. I finally land.
-11:00 am. I get picked up, say goodbye to my loyal compadres aka the super sweet old ladies (who now missed their family vacation, a cruise, because the flight was late) who helped me out a lot when I was panicking, and am reunited with sweet BF.
Kudos to you if you read all the way down here. I have told my dad to sue United Airlines for being so awful. Yes, obviously weather stuff can't be avoided, but the attitudes of the people (the people handling everyone were straight up yelling and the main girl kept leaving to go smoke, plus a guy who was saying he needed to get there ASAP was kicked off of his next flight by that same girl for being "rude"), the fact that we weren't told anything and had to sit there for hours and hours wondering if we would get there, and dumb things like hitting the plane against the side of something is ridiculous.
Still all worth it though:)
An owl and a squirrel are sitting in a tree, watching a farmer go by. The owl turns to the squirrel and says nothing, because owls can't talk. The owl then eats the squirrel because it is a bird of prey.
