Hmmm, interesting thoughts... I think my main problem was they don't really delve into his character... it's more like it's there, and you know nothing about it... o___o I guess my main problem is I'm a horrible literary (or otherwise) critic, and would prefer to be slapped in the face with moral, etc., rather than figuring it out myself. xD And I also don't really like the style of musical... I prefer musicals where there is talking. Near the end of the musical I was seriously begging my laptop to stop the singing. They are all amazing actors/actresses and have good voices (I love that Eb that Boggess hits in then end of Phantom of the Opera (song) =0), but it just didn't seem right for the emotional ending of Christine fighting with herself to have her singing... but that's just my opinion. Plus, the ending. O____O Sorry, I can't handle musicals that just end like that. *faints* And one last critique.... I don't think it had to be nearly as sexual as it was. >____>

Favorite Youtube cover of Phantom? (be it a medley, song, etc.)

Which is your favorite Phantom song? Least favorite?

Can you play any of the Phantom songs on the piano? Do you have the book?

I have not, but I really wanna see the movie. 8)
Blitz wrote:Have you seen Star Wars 7 yet?
Nope...not in a big rush, honestly. The one character does look really sexy in posters, but otherwise I just haven't felt compelled to rush out and see it like everyone else.
Blitz wrote:If you could live another era which would you live in?
18th century France, perhaps. The future. My childhood.
Blitz wrote:Have you ever made homemade pizza from scratch?
Not exactly. I've gotten the crust ready-made and then built a pizza from there. My parents used to make it totally from scratch though, like grinding their own flour and everything.
Isaiah the Ox wrote:Favorite Youtube cover of Phantom? (be it a medley, song, etc.)
Couldn't pick a favorite and most of what I have are files on my computer, but Nick Pitera is always fascinating. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3vRHgxv ... AAAAAAAZAA
Isaiah the Ox wrote:Which is your favorite Phantom song? Least favorite?
"The Phantom of the Opera", VERY closely followed by "All I Ask of You" and "The Point of No Return". Some of the instrumental bits are very high on the list, too. My least favorite would be the discordant bit in "Don Juan".
Isaiah the Ox wrote:Can you play any of the Phantom songs on the piano? Do you have the book?
I have copies of the sheet music for several of the songs, and I was learning them several years ago, but I never finished.
Isaiah the Ox wrote:Hmmm, interesting thoughts... I think my main problem was they don't really delve into his character... it's more like it's there, and you know nothing about it...
Mysteryyyyy. There's plenty to discover about him, trust me. :wacky:
Isaiah the Ox wrote:I prefer musicals where there is talking.
Cha, lots of people feel that way about musicals. I don't mind either way. I never noticed them singing too much in this. And...it is a MUSICAL. O.o
Isaiah the Ox wrote:Plus, the ending. O____O Sorry, I can't handle musicals that just end like that. *faints*
I absolutely hated sad endings, until I saw the 2004 film. 'Twas a turning point in my maturity. I'm okay with sad endings now, or ambiguous ones. I love sad music now, too. I'M JUST A RAY OF FLUFFIN' SUNSHINE, YO. \:D/
Isaiah the Ox wrote:And one last critique.... I don't think it had to be nearly as sexual as it was. >____>
*snickers* Michael Crawford has made it wayyy dirtier than anything we see today, from what I hear. This is mild as heck.

What would you do with:
The left half of a broken Menorah
Four small green buttons
A cup of un-jelled Mango Jello
Two bass drums
A cauldron of green glitter glue

I would pour the Jello mixture on top of the drums, douse myself in glitter, bang on said drums with my broken Menorah, and toss buttons to the crowd.

No, never. I don't really let anyone hear me sing.

Squeaker, a Puffalump mouse that I got for my first Christmas, is definitely one of my favorites.

I have a DumbPhone, not a SmartPhone. But I did recently get a tablet, which is my very first Smart device, and the Skype app is the only one I care about.

Yeah right great knower of all there is to know.
Yeah it also will probably be somewhat bloody and violent. Well can't be more action packed than the Avengers...

Sometime within the last three years. Pretty much had a panic attack in the shower.
Mandy wrote:Have you ever had your heart ripped out by a guy? If so how long did it take til it didnt hurt anymore?
Hm, honestly, I typically do the leaving in relationships. It was kind of a habit for awhile there, this was my theme song: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GvrTSZ-x_Pk I'm not proud of that though, and I haven't been that way in nearly four years.

I have only had my heart ripped out once. I was in several relationships after that, but this love flared up now and then and never really went away, causing me to be vulnerable and miserable off and on for seven years. The reason for this was a lack of closure, and very foolishly attempting to stay friends and keep in touch...there was never a clean break. When something is that messy, I guess it takes a long friggin' time to finally become healthy.
Mandy wrote:Why are there so many brutally cruel people in the world?
I wonder this often. The only answer I have come up with is that there is no God and this is simply how the human race is. Which makes me not want to be a part of it.
Mandy wrote:Did the pix I sent you look pretty much how you expected me to look or not? :wacky:
You're prettier and more stylish than I imagined. :wacky: AND YOU LOOK HAPPIER than I imagined you would.
Mandy wrote:What makes life worth living?
Precious few things, in my opinion. Quality time...deep conversation...connection...honesty...innocence...animals...art...beauty. Those are my reasons. They do not always outweigh the alternative, but so far I haven't given in.
Mandy wrote:What kinds of things make you smile?
Waking up on a Skype call with someone I love. Being taken up on a street race (LIKE LAST NIGHT ). Speeding and weaving. My niece being adorable. A genuine, natural compliment from someone I know has no reason to manipulate me. Animals, wild or pets. Snow. :wacky: Waking up in the middle of the night, thinking it's time to get up for work, then realizing I have many more hours of beautiful sleep left. \:D/ Being ganged up on in group chat. Accomplishing anything. Being greeted by a happy smile or a hug by the owner/manager of my two favorite restaurants. My co-worker meandering in to download his weekend adventures to me the minute I sit down at work. The common thread I see in a lot of these is feeling recognized or loved. :wacky:

I love the Avengers, and I have no problem with violence. Heck AC is violence. I mean some attacks end with you stabbing a guy in the face like three times.
Hmm, sword fighting not my style.

Being a kid. Finding the courage to dig into my depression and understand it. Being in a healthy relationship, probably for the first time. Being with my beloved 24 hours a day, for a week.
Blitz wrote:What is your least favorite question?
I'll share anything deeply emotional on here, but I don't like people prying into personally identifying information like my job or where exactly I live, things like that.
Blitz wrote:If you were a match maker who would you match on here?
I don't know who's single and who's not so I couldn't really say. I'm more interested in my own love life, anyway.
Blitz wrote:Do you watch Studio C?
Nupe! Keep getting asked about that, though.

So You Think You Can Dance is the only show I watch live on TV. Some things I've watched recently though... Once Upon a Time, Daredevil, Big Bang Theory, Frasier, True Blood, and That 70's Show.

It can be extremely fascinating, or pathetically boring. I find personal history captures my interest best. I care more about people who are here right now, and how they feel now, how they felt before, and how I can make them feel in the future, than historical figures.

Helios and you are rivals, so it's not surprising that you ignore her existence.

Why don't you want online people knowing where you live?

How hot does it get in the summer time where you live?

How cold?

Amish girls are always plain? Who is being SHALLOW this time?

Have you ever gone to the hospital for anything?

Doesn't being with someone for 24 hours make you annoyed and exhausted and want some time alone?
