Is this the non-existant charming guy your alternate personality met once in another life?

Do you lie often? Do you think white lies are okay? Have you ever met a pathological liar? Do you feel dirty after listening to music with cuss words in it? Have you ever had your mouth washed out with soap? What do punishments look like in your family, besides having technology taken away? Do you wear a watch or is that considered jewelry? If you could go anywhere for one day, where would it be? If you had to fall off the Empire State Building or the Golden Gate Bridge, which would you rather? Have you ever been to an amusement park?

Dom wrote:To whom should a single adult who lives alone and has a computer be accountable to for their internet usage?
Someone trustworthy, a friend. I mean it's pretty easy to hook up a thing where all internet searches are automatically emailed to another person.
Dom wrote:Mmhm. And now, the truthful version?
Some cousin I don't know very well. The letter wasn't even to me. It was to a bunch of people. :(
Dom wrote:You're kidding, right?
Most certainly not. Those who cover their sins shall not prosper, but he that forsaketh and confesseth shall find mercy. --Proverbs 28:13 :wacky:
Dom wrote:What does she have against you?
I trimmed her daughters hair a little too short. Of course, nothing was said about how short my hair was trimmed.
Dom wrote:Is this the non-existant charming guy your alternate personality met once in another life?
This one exists. Wait, why do you think it's a "he"?
Dom wrote:Do you lie often? Do you think white lies are okay? Have you ever met a pathological liar?
No. White lies are worse than real lies because they are mixed with truth and so makes them even harder to trace down. No idea what that is. O.o
Dom wrote:Do you feel dirty after listening to music with cuss words in it?
 Yes, it's not worth it. Or more rather sickened and completely annoyed. :(
Dom wrote: Have you ever had your mouth washed out with soap?
Once or twice.
Dom wrote:What do punishments look like in your family, besides having technology taken away?
If I don't get up within six minutes after being called, I must go on a one mile walk. Which is actually quite refreshing. Other than that, I just don't get punishments much anymore. #adult YOU KNOW
Dom wrote:Do you wear a watch or is that considered jewelry?
Yes, I wear one. All the time. I'm very dependent on it. Some watches would be considered jewelry, but they aren't automatically so.
Dom wrote: If you could go anywhere for one day, where would it be?
Hmm, I'd go a Sunday to VA and visit that EO church of WD's.
Dom wrote:If you had to fall off the Empire State Building or the Golden Gate Bridge, which would you rather?
Golden Gate Bridge. Maybe I would go backwards in time.
Dom wrote:Have you ever been to an amusement park?
 \:D/  :D  Nope. :noway:  :boohoo: :( :| O.o

Who on earth would care to do such a thing? bahaha =| But seriously. I can't imagine wasting my life checking someone else's internet logs, WOW. People need to be responsible for THEY OWN SELVES. *lays the smackdown*

Basically it's someone who lies constantly, about even tiny, utterly pointless things there is zero reason to lie about.
Miss Friendship wrote:If I don't get up within six minutes after being called, I must go on a one mile walk.
huh Is this in sight of the parents? Or could you do whatever you wanted during this walk?

Do you ever jog? Do you work out? Are you happy with your body? DO YOU SHAVE YOUR LEGS? Do you use tampons? I'll stop here and let you recover.

Well this kind of idea is probably only for those who want to avoid the temptations of this world because of an eternal life, and you don't believe in that. *smackdown*

I am a biblical person. Here's some news you might not have considered before. You can confess, without confessing to a priest.

Like I said....you'll never know.

It is not. O.o I go straight, turn around, come straight back. #trustworthy :noway:

If I feel like it. No. Unless working around the house is considered "working out." It certainly is exercise. Yes. :P Although at one time I was far from it. IVE GROWN UP.

Of course. Of course.

Why were games banned from your house?

Do you exclusively wear skirts and dresses?

My dad decided we were addicted and needed to move on in a more productive way. :wacky:

I only wear skirts when swimming or at night, and leggings under my dress when jogging or cold weather. So yes, basically exclusively dresses.

MY DAD TOLD ME TO COME RIGHT AWAY FOR FAMILY TIME, SO I DITCHED EVERYTHING AND RAN. Mercy. :x I was enjoying our convo as well. :wacky: We actually weren't insulting each other. :P

Do you only wear dresses because they're comfortable or is that just your belief?

Which sibling do you argue with the most?

What's your favorite genre of books?

My parents clothe us in dresses because that's their belief, but I've fallen in love with them, so I wear them because I like them.

My brother. He thinks he knows everything.

The Robe by Lloyd C. Douglass.

By two years... thankfully.

Never heard of them. At least I don't think I have...sometimes I read books without ever remembering the authors.

They are good Christian authors. Brock is a history professor. :-).

Do you like allegories?

There is a thing called self-control and taking responsibility for one's own life, not asking someone else to hold your hand every day.

:P Whatever you say. What kind of cleaning do you DO?

What era of time interests you the most? Who is your favorite historical figure? If you could spend a week in the past or future, which would you choose? Do you have a favorite planet? Can you sew? What is the last thing you sewed, if SO? Why is your name on here different from the chat room? Do you carry a purse, and if so, what's in it? Do you have any regrets? Are you reading any books, currently? Do you have a "type" of guy that you find attractive?

Haven't read it. I was gonna ask if it was good.

Have you heard Pentatonix?

sing wrote: Do you like allegories?
I read this first as "allegories." Yess. One of my favorite books is an allegory.
Dom wrote:There is a thing called self-control and taking responsibility for one's own life, not asking someone else to hold your hand every day.
Sure. There is also this thing where adults recognize that even they, gasp, do fail and can't always remain strong under temptation.
Dom wrote:What kind of cleaning do you DO?
Not much actually. :P Just sweeping, moping, scrubbing, and every once in awhile cleaning the entire fridge, or freezer.
Dom wrote:What era of time interests you the most?
Hmm, probably WW2 era, or the late 1800s.
Dom wrote:Who is your favorite historical figure?
JUST ONE? O.o  My favorite historical figure is Jesus. But I'm generous so I'll give you three others. The life of Charles Spurgeon intrigues me, Eric Liddell inspires me, and the vision of St. Perpetua is something to die for.
Dom wrote:If you could spend a week in the past or future, which would you choose?
The past.
Dom wrote: Do you have a favorite planet?
Does Earth count? That's where lovely things live.
Dom wrote:Can you sew?
Sort of. I DONT LIKE ADMITTING THIS. >_>
Dom wrote:What is the last thing you sewed, if SO?
A seam on a dress that my mom finished.
Dom wrote:Why is your name on here different from the chat room?
Because I joined HERE first. And I wanted my username to match the AIO theme. Countess was born out of a royal stampede on the chat one day.
Dom wrote:Do you carry a purse, and if so, what's in it?
I do. I have my wallet, mints, GUM  a blank small book, my cell phone that has no minutes, my hardrive, my camera, a lot of paper junk, a planner, a pen, aaaand I think thats it. Oh and a paper with some wifi passwords on it to a friends house.
Dom wrote:Do you have any regrets?
Many.
Dom wrote:Are you reading any books, currently?
Nope. :( I need another trip to the library.
Dom wrote:Do you have a "type" of guy that you find attractive?
Considering all the guys I've liked are completely different, probably not. However, several characteristics come to mind. Confident, without being overly confident, stubborn, kind, and the ability to make me laugh. AND SINCE I AM NOT SHALLOW, I'LL LEAVE OUT THE LOOKS.
Bethany Shepard wrote: Have you heard Pentatonix?
Nope. Oh wait. MAYBE? Is it a music group?
Bethany Shepard wrote: What kind of music do you listen to on a daily basis?
I don't do music much. But if so, its normally classical.

Hmm, I have permission to brag about my denomination? Welll, we were around before the Baptists, and different from the main stream Protestants back in the day of Reformation. #historical #facts Umm, so #differences... the majority of Anabaptists find going to war wrong, voting, or taking part in government. They normally have their own style of dress, which includes the head-covering, long hair, and no jewelry. "Plain and simple" is the motto for a lot of them, particularly the conservatives. The outward differences are an attempt to keep themselves clean and free from the stains and influences of the world. Aaaand, I'm not sure what other details I could add without breaking everyone up into categories within the Anabaptist realm. :P
