I wouldn't be so sure actually. Sometimes children can work themselves right into your heart.

What kind of questions do you like the most?

If you could have the answer to any question, what would that question be?

Do you like stargazing?

Do you enjoy running?

We met on a Christian chat room, then included e-mail and MSN instant messenger, and eventually texting and Skype, then phone calls and real-life letters when he went into the army. This is my best friend who is going to Afghanistan in a week. We've known each other for thirteen years now. Just saw him earlier this week, we tooled around slurping ice cream and root beer like bosses. 8)
Miss Friendship wrote:I wouldn't be so sure actually. Sometimes children can work themselves right into your heart.
Obviously. But caring for someone or loving them doesn't change who you are as a person.
Miss Friendship wrote:If you had to choose JUST ONE for each. Now what?
I suppose if threatened with severe bodily torture, I could still only pare it down to...*cringe*...three for each gender... Michael, Jason, Tristan, Kate, Elena, and Eleanor. :wacky:
Miss Friendship wrote:What kind of questions do you like the most?
Thought-provoking ones. Anything unique. Random funny stuff is awesome, too, and I want those as well. But I love digging deeper...preferably not in areas of religion or politics...just life stuff. You know? Small talk can be so pointless. I like to get down to the meat of a person, including myself. Stuff that really matters, or really makes someone have to contemplate for awhile. I like questions that are a little bit or a lot uncomfortable, that you know they really have to consider if they're willing and able to share the answer, or if they even have the emotional depth to find the true answer in themselves at all. :wacky:
Miss Friendship wrote:If you could have the answer to any question, what would that question be?
Why do innocent people have to be hurt?
Miss Friendship wrote:Do you like stargazing?
I do, but I haven't done it much in many years. It's pretty bright here. I miss living in the mountains. I love nighttime and the moon, the sun can go douse itself.
Miss Friendship wrote:Do you enjoy running?
I enjoy running water, sure. No. I don't really like anything that makes me sweat. Bleck. But I did actually recently buy running clothes and shoes. We'll see what happens. I might walk or something.

Do you do presents?

If so, did you get any that surprized you, or that you really liked? Or a lame one?

We do. I gave my mom tickets to a stage version of her favorite movie as a combination birthday/Christmas gift. She flipped OUT. 8)

I honestly am not prepared for the rest of my family yet, I've been on vacation for a few weeks and life was quite crazy. Our Christmas isn't happening until January though, so it's okay.

My mom did give me a few presents this morning, but she's saving the rest for January. I haven't been surprised by them yet...I got two ornaments I knew about (I picked one out myself, ha), and a tiny nativity set with adorable little resin animals. :wacky: I think I may be getting money in January, which will go towards the camera I had to buy last week because mine finally bit the dust.

Usually we do our Christmas on Christmas Eve, and then stockings on Christmas morning, but nothing has really been the same since my brother left many years ago. Christmas has honestly become pretty flippin' sad, due to that. I miss the magic. This is the first time we've not done it on Christmas Eve or at least Christmas Day. Just doesn't feel right.

To quote Dr. Laura, he shacked up with his girlfriend.
Miss Friendship wrote:You like nativity scenes? O.o
Yep. "I don't have to be religious to find the images beautiful or its poetry moving." to twist a quote from V for Vendetta. I grew up with a Precious Moments nativity scene coming out every Christmas, my brother and I fought over who got to put out the little black lamb, Baby Jesus didn't get set out until Christmas morning...these are all traditions that are dear to my heart, whether I believe in God anymore or not. Non-Christians put angels and stars on top of their Christmas trees, regardless of belief in God. It's like that. It's simply what Christmas is about. And I don't mind that.

ha Yes, so kind.
Miss Friendship wrote:Ever been to a grave yard in the dark?
Why yes, FUNNY YOU SHOULD ASK. I used to go to one after work fairly regularly, around midnight, and just blast instrumental music from my car and wander around. It's very peaceful. I like cemeteries, in day or night.
Miss Friendship wrote:What's the creepiest place you have ever been to?
Hm, I went into an abandoned barn once and the sound from the ceiling was unbelievable. I'm pretty sure it was infested with something...rats, perhaps. The noise level was insane. I would also say the mortuary for my Grandma's viewing was one of the creepiest things I've experienced, mostly because it mirrored one of the first nightmares I ever had as a four year old kid.

It was all decided quite suddenly. :wacky:

Mm, sounds yummy. Bit rich though...

Flew a few states away to be with someone I love. Meandered back to my home state, slowly.

I wouldn't marry anyone. And if I were so inclined, it wouldn't be a celebrity.

I do like cars, but I am not knowledgeable about them like my brother or many of my guy friends. A lot of their passion for cars has rubbed off on me though. I love The Fast and the Furious franchise, mostly the first, second, and last movies... Dominic Toretto is the inspiration behind my name. And I love speeding and weaving, all the better if it starts at a stop light with some random guy who dares to race me. Preferably at night.

I actually had that happen to me once. O.o Some guy was mad that I passed him. So he passed me. We were going 70 in 55 zone. So I slowed wayyyy down, and he slowed down too, until I was nearly tailgating him. SO ANNOYING. Laughing at us too. Now why did I just tell you that? O.o

So what do you do when you lose a race?

Miss Friendship wrote:So what do you do when you lose a race?
Keep going until I catch the little snot, and beat him! Or if I have to turn 'cause I'm on a schedule, cuss and turn. But I've been known to go miles out of my way to continue a race. If I can get them weaving in and out of traffic, I almost always win. I'm typically more daring than they are.

Hmm. I've never been in a serious accident. I tapped someone's bumper twice. The first time she had slammed on her brakes because someone popped an illegal u-turn without warning, so she apologized to ME and just drove away. The second time, I was backing out of a parking space and a guy was speeding up the aisle. We barely tapped but I was on the clock at work at the time so I did call the cops. Nothing ever came of it though, other than some paint chipping off my old car's bumper. I did go off the road one time, I was purposefully sliding around on the road in the snow and it just didn't stop the last time. ;) And I also spun out in the snow in someone else's vehicle, which landed us nearly into oncoming highway traffic. That was fun. =|

Never even sprained a thing, despite being an avid roller blader, skier, snowboarder, etc. Also including falling off a horse...three times.

Sadly, it has been several years since I have done any of those. I skied growing up and loved it. Then in my early teens I tried snowboarding and it was ECSTASY, I never went back to skiing. I snowboarded for several years and owned my own gear and everything, but time and money have kinda brought it to a halt. My buddy from The Netherlands has been asking to snowboard if he comes to visit, so we'll see. :wacky:

As for where I roller bladed, mostly around my neighborhood where I grew up, but also in Skate City for birthdays and stuff. I've been ice skating a few times, more recently.

I figgle she listed ribs separately because people may not count a cracked rib as a legit "broken bone" such as a leg. BUT SHE'S CRAZY so who knows.
