here is another poem I wrote about 2 years ago when I was going through a really hard time.
Dear God my dreams are shattered
And my heart so full of pain
Where is joy thru my tears?
Where's the sunshine after rain?
All I see is darkening storm clouds
And my faith is getting weak
How in this can I be thankful?
Still thru the night for You I seek
Now I feel Your arms around me
Thank You for your tender touch
Hold me near; my heart is bleeding
And it hurts so very much
Lord, I do not understand it
Yet help me trust You all the way
Keep me standing, resting, hoping
Til I see the light of day.
Only 4 more days until Bible School!

Absolutely horrible for the mort part. The first part of the week I was a mental/emotional wreck because of some unpleasant circumstances. I had no appetite and I lost a bunch of weight. And now I am traveling to PA and looking forward to seeing MF but I have a terrible headache and I feel really sick for some reason. Dad was going to let me drive but I cant because I feel so bad.
5 or 6 am with MF once.

I know. But Dad wouldnt have let me drive the whole way. He wont let me drive on the highway yet...
I write them on my laptop or in my notebook, depending on which is most handy at the moment.
If I sit down and randomly try to write a poem it is impossible. But if I am going through a really hard struggle and God is really near the poem flows wonderfully.
Probably not if I had a choice.

I was so excited to read one of your poems at last! I really enjoy the fact that each poet has his/her own special touch that they add, and I really could see the delicateness of the words together forming such bittersweet thoughts of hope that's so near yet so far.
