I do like mysteries, we always read a lot of them growing up.

I haven't read it yet.

It didn't because you accidentally didn't leave space between the last word and the link.

When you were Protestant did you celebrate Halloween the wrong way?

What were the Plymouth Brethren like?

MF: How much do you know about Helios?

Woody: Let's see. I know you survived her
drama, I know she's a danger to
society, I know she's a lie, I know
Belle is unfazed by her wrath, I
know she has ox horns, and I know
I should beware of her.

(And she is also my enemy. )

I keep forgetting follow-ups... *facepalm*

My one Christian government book said that for 1000 years or so, the Catholic church refused interest. I think by that...it means asking for interest when you lend someone something. What do you think of interest in that sense?

What about the terms Conservative and Liberal in a religious sense?

Is talking to the dead Saints a sacrament? Is it "required"?

What does Romans 3:23 mean?

I didn't celebrate Halloween in anyway until I was Orthodox.

They were a lot like what I think Anabaptist and Mennonites are like. Very decentralized, focusing on getting back to Christian essentials. They have no clergy and no order of service; services are characterized by long periods of silent contemplation and prayer. They are very conservative in their dress and engagement of the culture. One of the big differences is the centrality of communion to their worship, they take communion every Sunday but still view it as just a symbol.

My favorite song, that changes pretty regularly but right now probably This Year by The Mountain Goats.

Favorite hymn: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rju5GyVtfnQ

Nope, she seems pretty imaginative.

For a significant amount of time in Europe there were laws against lending money for interest, the justification was Old Testament laws against charging interest. Ironically this gave rise to banks run by Jewish people who had laws against charging interest for each other but no such laws against charging interest to Gentiles. As for what I think, I don't see a problem with charging interest.
Isaiah the Ox wrote:What about the terms Conservative and Liberal in a religious sense?
Well I just used the term conservative in a religious sense, I used it to refer to outward things meaning conservative to mean apart from society and liberal to mean more like society. But there's also several other dimensions to liberal vs conservative in the religious sense such as holding to historically orthodox (small o) views such as the Trinity and virgin birth. But also to historical forms of church government such as bishops and denominations. So liberal and conservative can have many meanings.
Isaiah the Ox wrote:Is talking to the dead Saints a sacrament? Is it "required"?
It is not a sacrament. Required is not the term I would use. Nothing is required but if someone is Orthodox and has an Orthodox understanding of the Saints then it only makes sense to venerate them.
Isaiah the Ox wrote:What does Romans 3:23 mean?
That everyone has sinned, not sure what else is there.

Who is your favorite Doctor? (I'm guessing Matt Smith, but who knows? *taps nose*)
Favorite Companion? (You knew it was coming)
Favorite Doctor Who planet?
Are you genuinely afraid they'll bring back water from Mars?
How about the discovery of Superhenge? How much longer until they find the Pandorica?

Matt Smith is indeed my favorite Doctor, his first season remains one of my favorite TV seasons of any show.

Amy Pond was my favorite companion most of the time, given her part in Matt Smith's first season. But I've really enjoyed Clara Oswald with Capaldi's Doctor and especially these last two epsiodes.

Gallifrey

No, since we don't actually have any astronauts there.

They've already discovered the Pandorica.

What does your voice sound like and your face look like when you joke? Are you more sarcastic/dead pan or goofy/silly?

I am a very bad judge of what my voice sounds like and I've never looked in a mirror while telling a joke so I have no idea.

I can be both depending on who I'm around. I'm usually sarcastic/dead pan with people I don't know as well and goofy/silly with closer friends.
