It actually was quite difficult. I think he is more stubborn than I am, cause so many times I gave in only to be tricked and wished I had stuck with what I thought should be done.

That is so tough. I would definatly try, but I don't know if I would have that much self control.

A follow-up I just realized I haven't asked... 0_o

How is spanking different from resistance? Wouldn't stopping someone from hurting your brother qualify as punishment?

You forget things? 0_o

This is a question that I feel silly answering. You seriously see no difference between killing someone and disciplining a child? To train up children and administer punishment is advised by God, and is a parents responsibility.

Depends. Not my own choice, but if I was forced to, my conscience would allow me to do it.

When I told my brother I hoped he drowned right before leaving for a camping trip. It was over a pair of sunglasses....of course that was the explosion point, things had led up to that.

Historical fiction.

The difference isn't between killing someone and spanking a child. You've said before that you are a pacifist and would never use violence, isn't spanking someone a violent act? Even if it isn't as violent as killing someone.

I don't see it as violence. Definition of violence: behavior involving physical force intended to hurt, damage, or kill someone or something. Spanking is a quick pain intended to discipline children. You don't "spank violently" or else that would be abuse.

But still intended to hurt the child, there is both violence and pain involved.

Why am I no longer quoted in your signature? :(

Do you use Paint for your signatures, or something a little better than that? :P Because they are always super blurry... >_>

I'm glad you survived your parentless week!
What kind of Bible School is it? How long? Are you done high school? (Or high school level home schooling)

Edited to add: how is the Kingdom of Heaven? It bothered me that OxR left out how ;) How is my favourite question.

If someone were standing over you with a sword, telling you to deny Jesus or else you'd be chopped into a million pieces, what would you do?

What do you usually do to vent/calm your anger?

What is your career goal?

MF: How much do you know about Helios?

Woody: Let's see. I know you survived her
drama, I know she's a danger to
society, I know she's a lie, I know
Belle is unfazed by her wrath, I
know she has ox horns, and I know
I should beware of her.

My blurry ones were my first attempts. And no, I use a program Woody told me about. And recently I found a great online program. So, you honestly think Mandy's two sets were blurry? I thought they looked very clear. :( (Well I had my revenge on this question by that PM I sent you)
Isaiah the Ox wrote:When you're in PA, and you had a car, permission, and a free day, would you rather visit ED or myself?
So simple. ED of course. Who would want to visit you? Actually, I would drive to see ED, and pick up (no, rescue) an obsessed sarcastic cow-lover and take him with me.

In reality, I'd visit you, just because Virginia is too far away... Or is it? *looks at a map*

Or you could just fly to see me and we could have a party of 4.

aragtaghooligan wrote:What kind of Bible School is it? How long?
More like a youth conference. It's a week.
aragtaghooligan wrote:Are you done high school?
Some, not all of it though. I will be studying for my GED this year.
Mandy wrote:If someone were standing over you with a sword, telling you to deny Jesus or else you'd be chopped into a million pieces, what would you do?
I'd love to die. I would pray for my Killer because he would obviously need Jesus. I wouldn't deny Jesus. I couldn't live with myself if I did.
Mandy wrote:What do you usually do to vent/calm your anger?
I used to write journal. But I tend to do that more when I'm hurt/confused. I usually go bitterly brutally sarcastic. It helps.
Mandy wrote:What is your career goal?
Not sure yet. Maybe nurse. I'll always write, but that doesn't always bring in money.
Mandy wrote:Favorite SS forum?
Interview Booth and the Debate Hall. Can't choose between them.

Hmmm, I did like... nothing. Today I bought a sweater....it feels so Fall outside.

Winter.
aragtaghooligan wrote:Have you been asked this before?
Maybe, but I think I have changed my answer. xD
aragtaghooligan wrote:Do you believe in aliens?
I believe the chosen people of God are "aliens" and "pilgrims" on this Earth. But no, I do not believe aliens exist.
aragtaghooligan wrote:What about dinosaurs?
Yes, I believe dinosaurs existed. They are spoken of in the Bible as Dragons. I believe they lived with people, because old documented legends describe these creatures, and the warriors that killed them.

Why didn't you answer Good Doctor's last question about spanking?

Would you describe yourself as more towards extroverted or introverted?
