I do try to celebrate Easter but I don't know how to do it without feeling depressed. I can't change my brain focus. And I didn't mean to tell him

I am sooo, sooo, sorry.
I read your post, and then went away, and thought of some questions, and just typed them out quick while I remembered them. I forgot about your previous post. Sorry.
But, I'd have to agree. I don't like an scare tactics when it comes to Christianity. I'm reading a book that claims God is judging America...but if we only repent, he will not destroy us. And I think that we Christians need to be inspired to share God's love...but not because we are afraid 9/11 is going to happen again! The problem is...it seems Christians are prone to doing this, as you seem to say. I read your entire paragraph...and I actually have a tiny tear in my one eye... I know this really has nothing to do with what you said, but you really have a talent for love and looking for love. You are very sensitive to other people (sometimes that can be a drawback
) and, as your story tells, you are looking for that love everywhere, even in things like a friend visiting you. So...keep being you, even if some jerk kid annoys you and asks you stupid questions.

Aw thanks OxR!
I can't think of one I love them all soooo much they all have such deep meanings!!!!!Maybe a Spoon Full of Sugar I am the least crazy about it's sound, though I like it's meaning a lot.Isaiah the Ox wrote:What is your least favorite song from Mary Poppins? (it doesn't mean the song is bad, it can just be the one you wouldn't say is the best of the songs ^_^)
I don't remember, but the whole "I love to Laugh" song is the funniest part for me.What is your favorite joke from MP? (I was listening to the soundtrack, and I heard the one line: "I do what I likes.....*long pause*....and I likes what I do" it was hilarious.)
Story and songs, I'm not a huge JA fan. I've only seen MP and Sound of Music.Do you like MP because of the story and songs...or just because Julie Andrews is in it?
Ohhh my I think I just got complimented! I wish I was MP but I'm not as poised. I'm too emotional. Story Time With Rag: when I was a kid I would take a bag around and pull random things out of it hoping people would be shocked by what I had in my bag because I wanted to be like MP.Do you imagine yourself like Mary Poppins...enjoying large words, some that you make up, like being with kids, and good at making people think?
Nope, I really, really, should.Have you read the MP books?

And those aren't good enough to make you a JA fan?aragtaghooligan wrote:I'm not a huge JA fan. I've only seen MP and Sound of Music.

Would you like to see Mary Poppins live? Or do you just like the movie version?
Have you written any other stories than the ones I've read? (I'm sure you have

My ideal kitchen is really big because I want to have a house with only a kitchen and no other living room or dining room. So it would have to be big enough for a couch, table, chairs, all the appliances and cupboards and things and an island with wooden bar stools because I think they are really poetic. There would be a fire place and lots of wood and there would be big barn beam ceilings and the walls would be yellow.
No I have not read that.
I would live somewhere around where I live now because I want to be near my family. They are very important to me, not just my immediate family but my whole extended fam. We are quite close. I would love to visit BC and Nova Scotia though to see the mountains and both oceans. I would also like to see the tundra. I may want to move back to my old city if I ever had a car. It is only three and a half hours away from here where all my family is. It is big enough to be convenient but down town still has a small, poetic, artsy fartsy, vibe and there is a river and so much nature. My current city does have some poetry and artsy fartsy if you know where to look, but it is just too sprawled. I am not a big city girl. I think I'd ultimately like to live on a little farm.
It would be start in a little village on the East Coast of Canada. Very visually appealing with lots of fishing boats, poetic houses, and light houses. The main character would be a girl in her twenties who runs away to Toronto because she feels like she doesn't belong. I can picture the scene where she runs beside some train tracks and hops on a train to TO. In Toronto she would search for truth and belonging in various places. She would end up on the streets for a couple nights and then she would get a wake up scare and get a job cleaning in a nursing home where she would befriend this old lady who has no family visiting her which, finally after the old lady died she would realise she needs to go home too and there would be a beautiful hugging scene that would end the movie. Cheesy I know. I just came up with it right now although it involves some ideas I've been contemplating for a long time. I can see it all in my head though.

What do you think of the song "Sister Suffragette" from MP?
Would you call yourself a "feminist actavist" or just a person who thinks men and women should be thought of as equals (or some other synonym)?

*Cough* The definition of feminist is someone who thinks women and men should treated as equals, just saying. The word has just been given a bad rep, and people think it means something else.Isaiah the Ox wrote:What do you think of the song "Sister Suffragette" from MP?

I probably wouldn't use the word feminist not necessarily because I'm not one but because the word seems to carry so many different connotations and I don't want my intentions to be misunderstood. I definitely believe the value of men and women is equal. I would say the role of women from a Christian perspective is something I grapple with a lot. I don't quite understand it and I get very confused with a lot of the verses on that topic. I loved the song sister suffragette sooooo much when I was a kid. It's been a long time since I heard it, and I think a big part of why I loved it is because of all the marching and dancing, it was very exciting
If you knew you would die tomorrow, what would you do today?
Write a letter to every single person I love.
If you knew you would die next month, what would you do this month?
Hug as many people and animals goodbye as possible and spend as much time with them doing fun things so they would have one final happy memory with me.
What was the best day of your life?
There have been a lot of them. They all involve family or friends and a lot of them involve being outside.
What was the worst day of your life?
When my dad died.
What is the biggest area in your life in which you would like to grow? (spiritually or physically)
If there was one thing you could change about yourself, what would it be?
I would have a cat. Sorry I know that's not what you mean but I'm having trouble thinking of an answer.
What is your most embarrassing moment?
I don`t remember. I probably blotted it out. Also I`m pretty good at dealing with embarrassment and moving on, although I do struggle with all the what do people think about me stuff it is more on the inside.
What do you like best about your best friend(s)?
That I am free to be myself and that I can see beauty in them and they can see beauty and me and that they understand the poetry in the world and that they are kind to others and that they let me see who they truly are.
Would you invite any of your SS friends to your wedding or funeral?
If so, whom?
Funerals don`t have invitations. I think who gets invited to my wedding is going to depend a lot on who I end up marrying, where, and when. I really can`t say who would be invited. It is one of those cross that bridge when ya get there things in life.
What is your favorite thing about the SS?
I just like that having a place to talk to people.

Why are you a vegetarian? (If you want, you can just point to the answer for the previous question. xP)

I struggle a lot with women's roles too, so... you're not alone in that!
I worded the thing about inviting people to your funeral wrong. I meant to say would you want any of your SS friends to be at your wedding or funeral. Sorry bout that.

I want anyone to be at my funeral who wants to. I would probably say the more people willing to come the better because it will make my friends and family feel good to see that there were lots of people who loved me. It will make them feel less alone and like my life was not for nothing. I doubt I'll still be on the SS when I'm old though
I can't think of the smartest animal.
Sigh OxR I get asked this question alllll the time. I am a vegetarian primarily because I am way too emotional. I always felt bad about eating animals as a kid. Then I had a lot of friends who were vegetarian and they gave me all the good environmental and health reasons. And I saw Food Inc which shows the evils of factory farming. I had a crush on this guy one summer a million years ago who was a vegetarian so I became one to try to be on the same page as him. It only lasted two months. My roommate tricked me into eating meat as she was worried that I wasn't getting enough iron. But in February 2014 I became a social omnivore only eating meat at pot lucks or other people's houses but not buying it myself. Then I went to work at a camp where I either had to eat it three times a week or be a full fledged vegetarian so I went with the latter and haven't turned back since. One day, when I can afford it I will probably eat meat not from factory farms.

I hope you can find some family farms near you in Canada.

I have had pets, they weren't exceptionally smart. It's ok. Thank you. Not being listened to annoys me. Uhm online it would be the book of faces. Offline either my uncles house, bible study, or in my old town there was a really poetic local coffee shop:)
