For me personally I have only seen God through EO and I have been to many other churches. I'm not saying God isn't present in other churches, just what my personal experience has been.

Less than it should be

I was never mad at you for that :P

I just watched the latest Mission Impossible and saw an amazing Swedish actress Rebecca Ferguson, she really stole the movie. Now I'm watching her in a historical piece about the War of the Roses in England and she's doing an amazing job again.

Well I know that even if I hated God and turned my back on Him and left the church, I could never deny His existence because of my former experiences and just the overwhelming proof of His existence. Isn't atheism just a way to block God out?

So Matt Smith isn't your favorite actor? O.o

Atheism is not a monolithic belief system, there are many different types of atheist. I wouldn't say it's just a way to block God out because that has not been the case with most atheist that I know. For me I never believed in the first place so I had no former experiences and I never believed any proof of His existence. For other atheist that I know they had almost no positive experiences and whether they believe the proof or not their standards of proof changed to the point where they did not accept proofs of God's existence. You speak to a hypothetical of yourself becoming an atheist and still believing God, that would probably describe more the beliefs of a theist or an agnostic.

He is not, he's still my favorite Doctor though.

I hope this doesn't sound like an offensive question, cause its not meant to be. Is your allegiance to your Church or Jesus Christ?

No offense taken. My allegiance is to Christ and He is the head of my Church. It is because of my obedience to Christ that I am part of my Church.

If you knew you would die tomorrow, what would you do today?

If you knew you would die next month, what would you do this month?

What was the best day of your life?

What was the worst day of your life?

What is the biggest area in your life in which you would like to grow? (spiritually or physically)

If there was one thing you could change about yourself, what would it be?

What is your most embarrassing moment? O.o

What do you like best about your best friend(s)?

Would you invite any of your SS friends to your wedding or funeral? ;) If so, whom?

What is your favorite thing about the SS?

MF: How much do you know about Helios?

Woody: Let's see. I know you survived her
drama, I know she's a danger to
society, I know she's a lie, I know
Belle is unfazed by her wrath, I
know she has ox horns, and I know
I should beware of her.

(And she is also my enemy. )

Do you believe you may be wrong on some/many things in theology?

If I knew I was going to die soon I'd spend time with my friends.

Best day of my life, probably the first time I celebrated Pascha.

Worst day of my life, when I got kicked out of college.

I'd like to grow spiritually the most.

I would like to have more self control.

My most embarrassing moment, not sure I want to tell you that.

The thing I like the most about my best friend is that we always have things to talk about and she really cares about me and our friendship.

I don't think people get to invite people to their funerals but as far as weddings, it would depend on how large the wedding was going to be and what my future spouse wanted.

My favorite thing is the diverseness of the views on here.

I do not, I disagree very much with St. Augustine on that issue. I think God made us and our nature cannot be wholly corrupted, to me that would mean evil is stronger than God.

I'm sure I'm wrong on some theology issues, I don't think many though.

Why were you kicked out of college? O.o

What's Pascha?

Is your future spouse going to dislike your friends on the SS?

Why don't you marry your best friend? *hides*

O.o Well that college lost an extremely smart guy. Or did you become smart afterward?

Do you enjoy shopping?

If your favorite thing on the SS is the diversness of views, why do you debate and try to change us?

What's your favorite thing about the Chat?

Pretty much everyone there was smarter than me.

Depends on what I'm shopping for, I enjoy perusing bookstores. I like picking out nice clothes. Also grocery shopping is enjoyable.

I enjoy hearing all the different viewpoints that come out during the debate.

It can get too confusing at times with people posting over each other

Changes depending on my mood but generally Cake

Most bands :P

I said something embarrassing to a friend right before a debate round once so I was distracted for the entire round. That or the time I yelled at Christian A. over on the ToO.

"Some 'Legalists' insist that men cannot have long hair...but how come some of the earliest depictions of Jesus show Him having long hair?" Is this a good argument? Do you think it would be listened to? :P What do you think would be some of the responses?

What is your favorite soundtrack?

What is your favorite song from a soundtrack?

(By soundtrack, I mean a song without words, that is in a movie, tv show, etc.)

I think it's a good argument. I think some of the responses would be that those depictions are bad because we shouldn't be depicting Jesus.

My favorite soundtrack does have words because it is the soundtrack from Guardians of the Galaxy and my favorite song is Hooked on a Feeling.

Do any of your SS friends remind you of people you know in real life?

Why do you have nothing interesting on your profile?

Did you know one of my goals is to pass you up in posts? :P

Nope, all the people in my life both real and SS are unique

The fact that I have nothing on my profile is interesting in of itself

I did, good luck with that

Haha, thanks. I was just thinking about pictures of Jesus last night, and that popped in my head for some reason. :P

What do you think about becoming friends with unbelievers? I've heard Bible verses spouted on both sides...that one should...and that one should not (or at least to those that are extreme sinners). I, of course, think we should become friends with everyone if possible...but it seems that Paul says several/many times that we shouldn't even go near them... 0_o It's confusing. :|

I think we should be friends to everyone. I believe the verses you're referring to are speaking of members of the Church who are being disciplined.
