What was the brand of your first computer?
Do you enjoy singing?
Would you give up internet for a year if you were given the chance to spend a year anywhere in the world?
Have you ever been a Boy Scout(or a Cub Scout)?

Not sure, I was pretty young. I haven't had Apple computers though.

I do enjoy singing even if I'm not very good.

If it was all expenses paid I would do that.

I have not.

If you have answered one of these before ignore it (I have not read all 25 pages :P)

Which alive person would you want as a dinner guest? What about which dead person? If you didn't pick a famous person the first two times now pick a dead or alive famous person :P

What one thing would you save from a fire if all the people and pets are ok?

Do you ever rehearse what you are going to say before making a phone call?

If you could wake up tomorrow having gained one quality or ability of your choosing what would you pick?

When you say you rehearse what you are going to say all the time do you mean just for the phone or also before in person conversations?

Oh I remember now I asked the fire question before I think because I remember the Icons answer. Awko Taco sorry for answering the same question twice.

Oooooh I would love to be able to teleport. Travelling hurts my anxiety a lot, but there are so many people all over the world I'd love to be able to just visit whenever.

What do you think is the greatest accomplishment of your life so far?

Also before in person conversations

I feel exactly the same way, I would love to be able to teleport to see my friends.

My greatest accomplishment, yikes I don't know what to say. I mean the good answer is becoming a Christian but I had nothing to do with that. Probably start the sci-fi/fantasy convention I've told you about.

We're projected to have 200 people this year at our Washington DC convention, we just finished up our Seattle convention, and we're planning to add a Boston location next year.

How many years has Doxacon been a thing?

Is there one thing you'd like to change about how you were raised? Sorry if this is too weird/ personal. You don't have to answer it. I think about it all the time. I actually think my folks did an amazing job. My only complaint is that as I was homeschooled I was not introduced to time constraints until I was 14 and to this day being given a time limit on something gives me extreme anxiety. Which makes life really hard. On the other hand, because my elementary school education was not all about getting things done I picked up a passion for learning and a sense of wonder that has never left me and although my friends say it makes me child like they also say they wish more people had it. So who knows.

How did you get it rolling?
Was it hard to advertise for it?

Our first Doxacon was in 2013, there was a Doxacon Seattle in 2014 & 2015.

I was homeschooled too and one thing I would change is more science and math. Part of that is my fault for not being diligent in that area and doing my best to avoid studying them. But my parents didn't press us very much on those and I experience the effects of that a lot these days.

I got it rolling by getting people at my parish involved we put it out online and got a great response. It was and is super hard advertising for it, I don't have any experience in advertising and also it's super hard to get people interested in an event months in advance.

Yes, I would be focused on my own satisfaction in some dead end job getting the money to indulge my own desires. I would be a very angry, bitter person who enjoyed hurting others. I would hang around a very bad sort of crowd. And I would have no purpose in life.

I did watch it, live online actually. I was in more agreement with Bill Nye than Ken Ham.

I do not, I have very bad handwriting.

I like some, Life is my favorite but I haven't had any in a long time.

So did I. Watching it live was pretty cool. You didn't agree with anything Ken Ham said?

Have you ever watched Pride and Prejudice: A latter day comedy?

MF: How much do you know about Helios?

Woody: Let's see. I know you survived her
drama, I know she's a danger to
society, I know she's a lie, I know
Belle is unfazed by her wrath, I
know she has ox horns, and I know
I should beware of her.

(And she is also my enemy. )
