False, the military academies don't offer scholarships.

More specifically, there are only two grants offered at West Point, both of which appear to be for students who are already enrolled in order that they may continue study abroad. (Source)
Additionally, students who have been accepted at the academy pay no tuition, room and board, or other expenses, so unless someone wants to study abroad, as is addressed above, there would be no need for the academy to offer scholarships to incoming cadets. (Source)

it's not about 'deserve'. it's about what you believe. and i believe in love
Bad way to put it. He was offered admission which is consequently free, at West point.

Blitz, learn to admit when you're wrong. Carson is not perfect, no one is, you do yourself no favors defending him when he is clearly making things up. This causes me to lose respect for your judgement.

Well. He clearly embellished a bit when it comes to wording his statements.

This wasn't a statement though, this was in one of his autobiographies were there is plenty of time to consider wording and edit out embarrassing embellishments like this.

Another GOP debate tonight! Anyone watching?
I'll be working so I probably won't get the chance to watch this one live.

I listened to the last half hour or so. Everyone is performing pretty decently and no weirdness so far.
What do you all think about changing the debate format?

I thought there were some good questions and answers but the moderators needed to reign in the candidates more. Here are the talking times from last night.
Cruz: 13:35 Kasich: 11:51 Trump: 11:19 Fiorina: 11:00 Rubio: 10:20 Paul: 10:06 Bush: 9:50 Carson: 9:22
No way Cruz should have had four more minutes of speaking time than Carson the front runner. Kasich was allowed to interrupt and speak more times than he was asked question. If Cruz and Kasich had been reigned in a bit more and more speaking time had been given to Carson, Bush, and Rubio it would have been better.

I wanted to watch or listen to it, but I was so tired after just getting back from a week of Bible School so I went to bed....
