One of my favorite moments is when Lucy confront Kurt in the woods about his dad. It made me cry the first time I heard it... Which doesn't happen very often. I also adore Clara! it's sooo sweet!

Oh, Home Is Where the Hurt Is is sad. I was so close to crying when I listened to it recently, but ultimately, I didn't.

Hear hear, T.S. Hear hear... I believe it's time for one of my signature remarks: Thank you, God and AIO, for Karen.

Hmm... Karen was moving, but, frankly, not as moving as Where Is Thy Sting?

Very possibly, because, I'm afraid I've never heard that one! We don't own every, or even most, of the AIO albums, so I and my sibs just catch what extras we can online and keep slowly getting more albums. In any case, Karen is a beautiful episode.

I adore Karen! It is soo sad, yet so heartwarming. My skin tingles every time I listen to it! It gave a whole new side to Odyssey!

What's the one when Whit ignores Connie to make a point?? Well I can't remember, but that one makes me sad before they talk.

Um, no. That's an entirely different one. And Connie didn't refuse to talk to Whit, it was the other way round.

That bit in tgrc when skint tells buck good bye, really gets me. and i really like that part in something blue when connie asks whit to walk her down the aisle at her wedding. it is so sweet. and in the same episode, where connie and mitch, decide not 2 get married.

i also really like the part in home sweet home, where whit and connie hug, after he gets back from the middle east. Oh!!!!!!!!!!! it is so sweet and emotionel.

The scene in Home, Sweet Home, for me at least, was awkward and overly sentimental. And I just wasn't moved by the scene in GRC. I just have a heart of stone, I suppose.

However, Where Is Thy Sting? is conceivably the most emotionally brilliant episode AIO has ever written. It toys with and shakes our emotions as a great, sad song does and comtains some fascinating philosophical discussions as well as some truly profound spiritual statements.

In the episodes when Eugene comes back, the part when Connie cries with Katrina made me tear up. I also teared up on the part when Eugene sounds so desperate because the imagination station didn't give him back his memory.

Agreed, Alex. Where Is Thy Sting is one of my favorites. The funeral is amazing because you have all the different parts of the funeral and the beautiful music throughout the whole scene. (It was the same song in the music box!) Plus, that episode can be considered one of Eugene's stepping-stones to Christianity. *sniffs* I'm getting emotional just thinking about it now.

Yeah, I'll admit those were well-done emotional scenes, however, I still didn't cry, or even 'tear up', as you say.

I never teared during the Katrina/Connie scene either, but I cam close. I never found the Eugene's frustration scene tear-jerking, though it was powerful. I listened to Death Where is Your Sting, and it is INCREDIBLE. However, June's sudden conversion, though awesome, fell a bit flat for me. June always seemed a wonderful, wise person and she never really butted heads with Connie over Christianity, she seemed to like it. In fact, I began to assume that June was Christian, and had always been so. In other words, that closing scene just didn't work out as well as it could've for me. Otherwise, however... Oh wow, what an amazing piece of beauty.

The final scene where Bill was drunk was very deep, moving, and wonderfully mature for AIO.

Another episode that always brings me to tears is Greater Love. I still don't believe it's the greatest AIO episode, it just always makes me cry.

And then there's No Way Out/In. I don't know what it is about that, but I was close to crying when Lester was crying. It was just moving for me. That episode is still in my top favorites, though I was scared of it when I was younger.

I'm not sure which episode it was, but in the episode when Connie finds out Mitch died she told Whit through tears that she loved him. And that made me tear up.

Plan B: Resistance is what you're talking about. Yes, that was a nice conclusion to the album.
