Why would I put a picture up? We aren't some kind of secret society or something. Any random person, whether part of our community or not, can find those pictures and use it to steal from you, stalk you, and other nasty things. So there's a lot of possible, albeit more or less fairly unlikely, problems that could result. Problems that do happen to a lot of people. And the reason I would be doing this would be... Anyhoo, I could send you a picture of me if you really do want one. On condition you send me one after, naturally. But I don't like putting pics online, so it would have to be over email. I don't like putting people in the awkward, give-this-person-online-your-email situation, so I'd give you mine rather than vice-versa. I've only done this with Suzy and Sammy previously, and they were quite close, so I have no idea if you'll be comfy with this, so no pressure.

But basically, to just skip to the point, I was indeed a mod. But then the mods who worked on the the chat started having very similar abilities to the mods of the board, sometimes making decisions that frustrated me. There was also another problem: I've always hated the chats' guts. I didn't mix with the chat mods. I didn't make as much of an effort to get along with them as I could've, I'm afraid. Consequently, after I enthusiastically voted Blondie admin, she and Aaron Wiley ousted me.

I will rant yet again: that thing sucked posts down frequently to hardly anything, and wasted people's time by the hour, and it was, all in all, and the "conversations" generally were... Well, let's just say they required little articulation, structured thinking, or vocabulary skills. Which is fine in moderation, but 24/7.... I do agree that the ToO chat is somewhat unmanageable though.

I just mentioned that Blondie ousted me directly after we elected her and I voted for her because it struck me as ironic.
