I think this is a first. I very much enjoyed it however.
Seeing as I am one of the few who can say this.
Dom wrote:YOU'RE AN AMISH PERSONTHING. Ahem. Are you? What are you? Mennonite? Or is "Anabaptist" all that you call yourself? I suppose you can't be Amish since you use electricity and look into the camera, but hey, there are some reeeeeally rebellious Amish girls out there. They might even use a BUTTON instead of a pin. =|
Far from it actually. I am not even Mennonite. My parents were Mennonite but now we are basically non-denominational but still consider ourselves within the Anabaptist realm. (The Anabaptist realm includes Amish/Mennonite etc)
Dom wrote:It counts, but is usually unpleasant to witness.
I never dance in public to begin with.
Dom wrote:Isn't dressing the way you dress "drawing attention to yourself", as you mentioned about dying your hair? What do your parents have to say about THAT?
They probably would say I am not drawing "admiring eyes" my way, since girls are to remain modest and not be a hindrance to men. However, I dress because, regardless of what it is, I dress because I want to please God, and God alone.
Dom wrote:Are you allergic to anything?
Onions. (This is my excuse to get out of eating them. ) And, no, nothing that I know of.
Dom wrote:Are you allowed to date?
Hmm, I doubt it. I am only 17 which is sooooo young, as you know, my dear elderly, antiquated, decrepit friend.

Maybe. :P

Yellow-green. Ugh. :x

Why did they "stop" being Mennonite? Was that before you and your siblings were born, or more recently?
Miss Friendship wrote:Onions. (This is my excuse to get out of eating them. ) And, no, nothing that I know of.
G'jobbbb, I hate onions. I love the FLAVAH, mind you, but the texture creeps me out somethin' fierce. Something about that crunch in the midst of a nice warm gooey meal is disgusting. O.o Onion powder is teh awesomes!

I am here but to entertain you, my dear.

Would you LIKE to feed a giraffe? I'll warn you, they have very long, very slimy purple tongues. Do you wish you didn't have to dress the way you do, or do you like it? Do you feel judged everywhere you go, or is it a common thing in your town, and/or are you desensitized to it after SO MANY little years? Are there any big issues you disagree with your parents on? Dom wrote:Why did they "stop" being Mennonite? Was that before you and your siblings were born, or more recently?
It was when I was 4. Dad saw some things in scripture the church we were currently attending wasn't exactly obeying. :( So we left.
Dom wrote:Something about that crunch in the midst of a nice warm gooey meal is disgusting. Onion powder is teh awesomes!
OH. THEN WE SHOULD GET ALONG SPLENDIDLY IF THIS IS ALL WE HAVE IN COMMON. I sooooo agree.
Dom wrote:What? I dropped my hearing aid.

Dom wrote:Would you LIKE to feed a giraffe? I'll warn you, they have very long, very slimy purple tongues.
Not particularly. That would require traveling to a zoo, and I am not fond of traveling....in a car, that is, to nowhere interesting.
Dom wrote:Do you wish you didn't have to dress the way you do, or do you like it?
Love it. Kind of, anyway. I mean, I am not really that crazy about the way I dress. But neither do I want anything else. For one thing I am cold blooded and I can't imagine how people who do not wear dresses stay remotely warm. O.o I just freak out at the thought. O.o But yes, I do like how it sets me apart and I would never want to dress immodestly, even if I don't always stick with the Anabaptist style of dress.
Dom wrote:Do you feel judged everywhere you go, or is it a common thing in your town, and/or are you desensitized to it after SO MANY little years?
 Homosexuals feel judged everywhere they go... errr, some of them. Everyone feels judged by someone. And if I am judged, I never give them the pleasure of letting it bother me. In our town, it is pretty common. Mennonites have saturated the area. But I don't really go by my town for reference. And anyway, if I am "persecuted" which I can't ever say that I have been, it would be an honor, according to the Bible. ;)
Dom wrote:Are there any big issues you disagree with your parents on?
Not anything major. I sort of disprove of some of the Anabaptist culture that they would approve of, or see nothing wrong with. But as for major doctrines in scripture, no.
Dom wrote:Who is the sexiest celebrity around?
The word "sexiest" is not in my vocabulary. Eh, I'll PM this to you. NOT GONNA ADMIT HERE THAT A CELEBRITY MIGHT BE "HANDSOME." >_>

Sounds like a church location problem, not a Mennonite problem?

Naturally. Match made in...nahhhh. 8)

What bothers you about riding in a car? How would you prefer to travel? DO YOU HAVE A BUGGY?!
Miss Friendship wrote:Love it. Kind of, anyway. I mean, I am not really that crazy about the way I dress.
You're so decisive, I can see you really know yourself well. =|
Miss Friendship wrote:I am cold blooded and I can't imagine how people who do not wear dresses stay remotely warm.
*frowns* You are aware that dresses leave the insides of your legs bare to the elements that sweep up underneath the dress, RIGHT?! Pants are far warmer. Strange child.
Miss Friendship wrote:Homosexuals feel judged everywhere they go... errr, some of them.
Only if they somehow exude gayness to the general public, or are making out with someone, I imagine. ;) Otherwise, I'M PRETTY SURE THEY LOOK JUST LIKE YOU OR ME. Or well, not you. Only Mandy looks like you. :wacky:

What do you sleep in? Besides a bed, Miss Sarcasm. Do you have an issue with Amish people? Dom wrote:Sounds like a church location problem, not a Mennonite problem?
Well many Mennonite churches have the same problem. It had something to do with doctrine.
Dom wrote:What bothers you about riding in a car?
Nothing. I love driving if I am at the wheel. \:D/ Only it gets long and I get sick of it when I stuck with six noisy siblings with no escape.

Not at all. They are some fascinating people. \:D/

Probably writing letters since I simply LOVE communicating by pen. Aaaaand studying and traveling, and I have no idea. O.o

Cougar. They are in our area. *freaks out* O.o

Dom wrote:Like the PANTS you were saying weren't as warm as dresses?
My point is I wear BOTH, and the longer the dress, the warmer it is. Dresses are THICKER you know than most pants.
Dom wrote:You sleep in a skirt? Now this I have never heard of. A SKIRT SKIRT? Doesn't it RIDE UP? What the heck, woman.
It doesn't. I am amazing that way. My friends don't understand it 'neither. My skirt is actually one of those really tight form fitting things that you can barely walk in. But ooooh, so soft!

Oh yes, but only if I write very fast. It's toughened up.
Dom wrote:Have you ever met a celebrity?
I don't believe I have.
Dom wrote:Who is your hero?
Jesus. And Eric Liddell.
Dom wrote:Do you WANT to raise Sea Monkeys?
O.o OHHHHH    :D \:D/ No.
Dom wrote:What is your favorite kind of tree?
I don't know. O.o Evergreens are stately and dignified, but too stiff. Weeping Willows are artistic, but have no structure at all. Aaaaand, my brain is too tired to think of any others at the moment.
Dom wrote:What's a song that always makes you tear up?
Always changes. Songs rarely make me cry.
Dom wrote:Tell me something special about your family.
We have traveled from the west coast to east coast every two years by car/van since my parents married, and sometimes more than that. And we actually survived.

Bare. I just said I don't like icing. :P
Blitz wrote:Do you think you will 'become' MF/Countess?
I am her, for I created her, but she is not all of me.

I would try to call you Jake, but I am sure "Blitz" would slip out once in awhile.
Blitz wrote:If I got to know you in real would you prefer MF or your real name?
My real name. :P I don't like 'MF' that much. 'Countess' passes inspection, if you want though.

Not at all. IRL I am to the point, sometimes brutal, snarky, and sure, I make people laugh, but I am not sweet.

How am I supposed to remember? I always erase bad things from my memory. I think I screamed tonight at church when a group of children jumped out at me in the dark rainy night. It was SOOOO cold. *wails*
Dom wrote:When was the last time someone yelled at you?
My brother. He thought I was going to get the drivers seat first.

Nope. Never. And I am not really thinking of a "stalker might track you down and stick you into his dungeon." I am thinking of all the tempting sinful things that you can have at one click.

Sometimes. I think so about 10% of the time. The rest, no.

Nope, not all the time, anyway. And I am working at being pleasant and interested and attentive toward others. I once got a complement from someone who said I was extremely nice. O.o *faints*

Youtube videos that have nothing good about them.

Historical fiction.
Dom wrote:We split a house church in two once because my parents refused to let me and my brother drink wine and the rest of the church thought we were disobeying the Bible.
You could have pointed out the Bible also says to obey the ruling authorities, and it's against the law for the under aged to drink.

I think I have five. Three are white, one is black, and one is my favorite shade of bright blue. I normally only wear white because that is my preference. My sisters wear black and sometimes dark blue, so there's no rule about it in our home. If it's a covering, it's a covering.
