What is one thing to be thankful about for Trolls?

That's an easy question. The one thing to be thankful for about trolls is that they are mortal. And internet is not free. But that would be two things.
Eleventh, do you like to read fantasy novels?

I love to read fantasy novels, I read a lot of them. Harry Potter, Lord of the Rings, Name of the Wind, Narnia, and lots others.

Does reading fantasy help with being the narrator of the RPGs?
Ooooh, who's the author of Name of the Wind? It sounds interesting!
Have you read any Terry Brooks?

Yeah, Christians never kill others or engage in battles. ^_^Miss Friendship wrote:Doesn't sound very Christian--the battles or the wizards.

Actually, that's exactly what I meant. You didn't know that or you are being sarcastic?Spoon wrote:Yeah, Christians never kill others or engage in battles. ^_^Miss Friendship wrote:Doesn't sound very Christian--the battles or the wizards.

Eleventh, do you play the game Rook?

I've played it in the past, I'm a bit surprised you're familiar with a card system derived from tarot cards.

Then maybe this will be the thing that makes her realize she can't be so sensitive about games, I mean she won't play Settlers of Catan because the word Catan sounds like Satan, so I'm actually surprised MF would play with cards at all.

Keep talking about me. It's interesting.
I don't know how you think I am sensitive about games. My own family laughs at my refusal to play Settlers of Catan. I am stubborn that way just because I am me. So...do you believe cards are evil? Why would you be surprised I play with them?

I don't believe cards are evil but I grew up in a denomination that believed they were. And I've known people who think all cards are evil so given how sensitive you are to evil things I assumed you would find them evil.

I am sure they had reasons...what were they? Also, I don't play with the kings/queens/hearts cards if those are the "Tarot" cards you are talking of.

Also do you truly believe Christians don't kill others? I'm confused by your response.

Because my Dad has told me not to play with them. They mean something less than good.Spoon wrote:Why?Miss Friendship wrote:I am sure they had reasons...what were they? Also, I don't play with the kings/queens/hearts cards if those are the "Tarot" cards you are talking of.

I don't remember the reasons, guess I was mistaken about the tarot cards in Rook. What reasons are there for not using those face cards?

I googled Rook because I don't know what it is and this came up which clarified much to me so I shall share it even though it is not a question for which I apologize. "Rook is a trick-taking game, usually played with a specialized deck of cards. Sometimes referred to as "Christian cards" or "missionary poker", Rook playing cards were introduced by Parker Brothers in 1906 to provide an alternative to standard playing cards for those in the Puritan tradition or Mennonite culture who considered the face cards in a regular deck inappropriate[1] because of their association with gambling and cartomancy." -Wikipedia (I know I know, not a good source, sorry). I googled cartomancy and it is kind of like tarot reading, using cards for fortune telling. So these cards and game were actually made to avoid what you thought MF would want to avoid.
To make myself feel less guilty about getting off topic here is a random question: how do you feel about umbrellas?

The question should really be, how does he feel about umbrellas while it's not raining, when it starts raining, and when he gets stuck in a down-pour without one. (I'm just teasing, btw
