I don't know what region you're from, but in the Southeast, too-large t-shirts have become a pretty big fashion trend. I wouldn't recommend wearing them with Nike shorts (or similar), since the length of the shirt will make it look like you're not wearing any bottoms underneath. You can use them as sleep shirts, or you can wear them with leggings for athletic endeavors, or you can wear them on a cool day with skinny jeans tucked into boots. All three are popular uses for them—or at least they are according to 90% of the teenage female population of my hometown.
I'm actually not sure what region my city would be located in, because our location doesn't exactly allow an "either or" choice so we're sort of just in the middle/central, BUT! Since you've brought some great tips to my attention...I've been seeing the "over-sized" t-shirt look more often, and I really like it! I've been trying out the look on a more regular day to day basis as well and I'm liking how you can be so comfy, yet "in style" if you know what I mean =P I really liked your third suggestion (I've liked and tried all of them though xD) and I think I've been using that one more often. Like... If I'm wearing a neutral(ish) colored graphic t-shirt I'll wear it with cuffed skinny jeans (a teensy bit above where an ankle boot or combat boots come up to), combat boots, and (depending on the t-shirt/if it's slightly more fitted/design/etc ) a long pendent necklace =] I love that look so much!!! The only one I'm a teensy bit hesitant with is the legging one, but only because I don't wear leggings too often if at all, but I feel like that's sort of my only option if I'm going somewhere where I'm going to be active in cool weather *nods* I have done it before though and it's super cute, BUT! I like to stick to mah skinny jeans xP But anyyywho! Thank you so so much for the advice! I really enjoy hearing your thoughts and suggestions regarding the fashion world =] And I realize how awkwardly long this response is...And it's not even in my Q&A

Hair replaced by spaghetti. That way, I have a food source if I need it, and I don't lose my drawing capabilities.

I like both, because waffle cones are tasty and the crunch makes a nice contrast to the cream, but cups and bowls are considerably less messy.

Nothing too fancy, just walking around in the woods, playing around in the backyard (usually some attempt to recreate Calvinball), and reenacting scenes and storylines from the Calvin and Hobbes comic strip. (In case you can't tell, Calvin and Hobbes holds a special place in my heart. )

No, I just lie awake having existential angst about them. =P

It would only be another world in a metaphorical sense, for starters. I'd want to go intern for a comic book publisher, animation studio, or video game company, both in order to see firsthand the inner workings of the industry of which I hope to be a part and to gain experience that looks really good to potential employers.
Isaiah the Ox wrote:You don't use libraries?

No and no. They're fine for a quiet space if I need to work on something, and if I know what book I'm looking for, they're pretty useful. But as I've said before, I'm not much of a reader, so I don't really like to go to libraries just to look for books in general. Plus, my library at home is always full of screeching children. =P
Isaiah the Ox wrote:What did you not like about The Heroes of Olympus? I just finished the second book. Other then it being a total cash grab (like most second series') I don't notice much different in writing style or anything... It seems just like the other books. *shrugs*
Where do I begin...well, I actually wrote a Tumblr post about it recently, so I'll just paste that here. (Warning: some spoilers.)
Riordan seems like the kind of writer who can portray beautiful, deep friendships skillfully, but cannot properly write an ongoing romance (which is why Percy and Annabeth work so well, because their actual romance began at the end of the last book of the original series, giving us five novels to fall in love with their friendship). In HoO, we don’t get healthy relationships; we get characters gushing over how attractive their love interests are or how much someone looks like a previous crush (or the relationship fades into the background altogether). Even Reyna gets hit with some of this; she’s introduced to us as a potential rival for Jasper, and even though she turned out to be so much more, so many characters remark on how “alone” she is that you have to wonder why no one has remembered that she carried the weight of an entire society on her shoulders for eight months.
The conflict also has nothing on that of the original series in terms of making the reader stop and think about what’s going on. In PJO, Percy has to come to terms with the fact that the lord of the Titans rose to power in no small part due to the hundreds of demigods embittered at their parents for ignoring them (or, in many cases, outright refusing to acknowledge their existence). One might think that the gods would be painted positively, as they are in media like Disney’s Hercules, but they aren’t; they are flawed immortal beings, and if anything the series brings them down to size, with the nail in the coffin being that this upstart demigod wishes not for immortality, but for them to take responsibility for their actions. We are given compelling reasons for characters like Luke and Ethan to act the way that they do, and the series places a huge emphasis on how one choice can make a difference in your life or someone else’s.
There is nothing near that compelling in HoO. The Second Gigantomachy arc could have had some interesting themes, both of unity between two opposing forces and of how to balance care for the environment with allowing human progress. The Greeks and the Romans, coming to terms with the others’ existence, could have been portrayed as trying to work together, with characters like the Seven and Reyna trying to encourage the two societies to put aside their differences and the two camps being shown learning from one another. (The New Athens idea? Yeah, that only sounds fantastic.) Gaea could have been rising again because of her fury that Pan was allowed to fade, what she might have perceived as the last symbolic straw for a society that the gods had allowed to become absorbed in corporate greed, and we could have seen the impact on the various nature spirits and satyrs and fauns (allowing Grover to play more of a role in the story, because that would have been nice). We didn’t get that; we got “Gaea and the Giants are taking over the the eevuuulllz”, which wouldn’t have necessarily been as bad if the Giants weren’t so ridiculously weak.
The problem with HoO was that it had so many compelling surface ideas—a Gigantomachy, Roman demigods, Greek and Roman demigods coming together, everything about the character of Reyna, a budding romantic relationship between two characters who had fought together and nearly died for one another, and the incredibly diverse cast—but in many ways fell short when it came time to deliver. I don’t begrudge anyone their enjoyment of the series—I wish that I’d loved it as much as I did PJO, and I’m glad that some people really enjoyed it. But I didn’t, and my disappointment with this series has unfortunately tarred my perspective on Rick Riordan’s writing as a whole.
Isaiah the Ox wrote:What is it like to have perfect pitch?
It's a deeply moving experience. Once you find out, you're transported to the magical land of Musicalia, where you're trained in how to sing and play instruments by unicorns, mermaids, and cherubs. They even offer dance lessons on the side. (I tried it, but after I almost squashed several fairies, I agreed that going back to singing would be a beneficial decision for everyone.) Once I had been trained in how to use my great power, I was able to be transported immediately back to the place and time when I found out I had perfect pitch by the unicorns' magic and time-manipulation abilities, and no one was any the wiser. You'd think they'd have required me to take a vow of secrecy, but I suppose they figured that even if I told someone, who'd believe me?
Isaiah the Ox wrote:Do you know much about music? Would you like to learn more?
Well, I've been in choirs since I was six, was in a show choir in middle school, and was trained in classical styles of singing for two years, so...I guess you could say I dabble a bit. If there's anything I know more about, it's breath control; I've had to stop singing in performance because my voice is strong enough that I don't need as much breath support, but that has a negative impact on me physically, so I've refrained from singing until I get over that particular hurdle.
Isaiah the Ox wrote:What do you think of Contemporary Christian music?
Some of it is at least decent; most of the time, though, it's bland, cookie-cutter nonsense marketed to people who want to feel good about their iTunes libraries. It tends to be overly manufactured, both in terms of lyrics and composition.
Isaiah the Ox wrote:What do you think of CC versions of hymns?
They can be nicely done, but I do get tired of the diva-like tendencies on the part of the singers to "jazz up" lyrics that are powerful enough on their own. I personally prefer orchestrated choral anthems.

Depends on who's wearing them.

Not really—not because I think it's *~evil~*, but because I just don't really care to (frankly, it's more important to me that Harry, Ron, and Hermione met on Halloween 1991, Mrs. Norris was Petrified and the first threatening messages were written on the walls of Hogwarts in 1992, the Fat Lady's painting was slashed in 1993, and the Triwizard Champions were chosen in 1994). We didn't ever go trick-or-treating growing up because my brother and I are incredibly picky about candy, I didn't ever feel like participating in my church's Halloween festivities, and I wasn't able to attend the one Halloween party I could have gone to this year that wasn't alcohol-laden.

Very few of them. I usually almost-cry rather than actually cry. I think the last time I came close to that was when my mom, my brother, and I watched The Fox and the Hound a few months ago.
Miss Friendship wrote:What sort of things make you very emotional?
Personalized accounts of trauma and tragedy, abused or otherwise hurting animals (especially cats and kittens), Jesus's death and how little He deserved it, and the thought of one of my parents dying or having dementia or Alzheimer's.

The only comments I noticed like that were one time when Percy described Annabeth in TLT as having "princess curls" and then in TLO when he referred to her as "seriously beautiful", and the rest of the time they're working together as a team or they're arguing about something. In other words, their relationship has actual substance to it, not this bland insta-love thing Riordan has sold to us.
Isaiah the Ox wrote:But I loved how you got all of that from a few Wikipedia summaries. Then again, I'm really not a good book critic.
It's worth noting that I actually did read the first three books, so I do have that to go on, but by the time HOH came out, I'd kind of lost interest in the series.

Ugh, if only. There was one final that I had to take in ten minutes because it was online, I was taking it at home, and the course website made no allowances for time zone changes. So the exam was due at 6:00 EST, and I was running through five questions a minute at 4:50 CST.
Isaiah the Ox wrote:If you owned the college you attend, what all would you change?
Because it would be privately owned, I could do whatever I wanted with it, so I'd remove the state gen ed requirements. They're ridiculous and you shouldn't have to shell out thousands of dollars in order to have a """well-rounded education""" that you didn't ask for. (Why do I need to know about the history of psychological theory if I'm graduating with an art degree? >_> ) Actually, y'know what, I'd just ditch the college and somehow make my way into head of the Department of Education and strike the requirements there so that this can be made at a national level.
Additionally, I'd strike the prohibition on pets in dorms, instead allowing for certain dorms for people who want to have pets and certain dorms for people who either don't or are allergic to dander.
