Normative

I was picking up several friends from the metro for church the day after a party and they brought several friends so the car was very full and someone called the car Orthocar and it stuck.

When was the last funeral you attended? How old was the person who died?

Last wedding? How old were the people who married?

How many different EO churches have you been too?

The last funeral I went to was for a friend of mine from highschool, she was nineteen.

It was July 13th and they were in their late 20s.

The first one I went to is my current parish which is Romanian/Orthodox Church of America, then I visited a Romanian/Orthodox Church of America monastery in Pennsylvania, an Antiochian parish in Maryland, a Greek parish in New Jersey, a Orthodox Church of America parish in Alexandria Virginia, a Greek monastery in Maryland, an Antiochian parish in Williamsburg Virginia, a Russian/Orthodox Church of America Cathedral in New York City, a Greek Cathedral in DC, and a Russian parish in Toronto.

So the EOs favor the Russian and Greek people more than any other nationality?

On the RA...basically.

Have you ever ridden a motorcycle before? If so, was it fun? If not, do you want to?

What is one crazy thing you would do if you wouldn't die as a result?

What kind of awards have you won in your life?

What kind of award would you like winning?

Why Syria? Aren't there a lot of people over there who are not dead?

Do you like wearing socks?

When do you make supper?

Do you usually help with dishes?

Do you normally get the mail?

Does your family get the newspaper?

When do you normally wake up?

Do you drink caffeine (tea, etc.) ever to wake yourself up?

I drank a lot of tea in Canada and will probably take that up when I move there but currently I drink soda with caffeine.
Does your family get the newspaper?
We get the Washington Times and Post. Also the Economist.

Do you read the newspaper? I thought the internet kinda took over the need for a newspaper.

What kind of job does your mom do?

What about your dad?

You make every supper? o_o

I do read the newspaper, the internet doesn't always have the same stories as the newspaper and with the newspaper I don't need to go looking for stories. Plus a newspaper is usually more reliable and reputable.

My mother is the director of a co-op school.

My dad is a logistics contractor.

I make a lot of suppers.

Wasn't your dad in the military once upon a time? If so, did he retire or what?

Is your family pacifist like you?

Do you ever try to convert your family to EO?

What do you think of the churches they attend? What kind of churches do they attend?

My dad was in the Air Force for 21 years, he retired about 10 years ago.

My family are not pacifist.

Not really, we have theology discussions sometimes.

My sister attends a larger non-denominational non-Reformed church because of their ASL ministry; I've never been and don't know much about it. My parents attend a Presbyterian church that I also attended for a few years and it was one of the reasons I stopped going to church; the event that really settled it in my mind was when one of the elders at the church gave thanks during prayer that the surge in Iraq had worked and I thought that was too political for church. My brother is attending a Baptist church with his fiance even though he doesn't agree with Baptist and I'm at a loss for why he does that.

They find some aspects interesting but aren't in agreement, obviously.
