Mandy wrote:Well you should definitely read the Emily of New Moon series. They are so awesome. Emily is an amazing character. Anne is too but in my opinion she doesn't hold a candle to Emily.
Well, I can't imagine we'll agree there, ma'am. We'll see though.
Miss Friendship wrote:How long does it take you to read a book?
Depends on the size of the book. The shorter it is, the longer it takes. Novels I tend to dedicate myself to and get engrossed in. Shorter books I often leave off then come back to.
Miss Friendship wrote:When did you read the first book in the Anne series?
Golly, about thirteen. I finished that book quite fast, and each since.
Miss Friendship wrote:Are you at all alarmed by ISIS?
Not for America. For them over there, yes. Though this is rather par the norm over there. How many years do those unfortunates gowithout something like this happening?
Miss Friendship wrote:Worst color?

That grey, purply color when you've failed mixing paint.
Miss Friendship wrote:Food you cannot live without?
Dark chocolate. Also chocolate chip cookies. Also chocolate cake. And chocolate ice cream.
Blitz wrote:Who do you think should have more posts, Me or MF?
Should? Your both morally allowed to. I permit it either way. I like them both, but I suppose the Good Doctor has earned his high posting count with all his debating and nonsensical joking.
Blitz wrote:What is your opinion of never changing my signature?
I'ts a bit refreshing, most everybodychanges their avi and signature often. You start to stop caring sometimes, and it can be hard to keep track.
Isaiah the Ox wrote:Does loving Emily really matter? Or do you just like to go on tangents about things?

Yes, it matters. It's not just about liking her, it's about not not liking her. She's gotten too much hate right from the relaunch. I only like tangents sparingly. They require little cleverness and get old. So I try not to over use them, failingly.
Eleventh Doctor wrote: If you weren't Roman Catholic which Christian denomination would you be?
"It's so hard to say. They all look alike to me." But perhaps Anglican, more likely Eastern Orthodox. Comment if you must.
Helios wrote:What is your favorite type of tea?
Tea made from Paula. But also English Breakfast, followed by peppermint, followed by chai.

How much of Paula do you have left? Or have you allowed her to serve as a slave for a few years first?

Why do I not see you using the SS emoticons?

Which one has more character: SS or ToO?

What's your honest opinion on my set?

Who would you ship me with from the SS?

MF or I
Actually, it doesn't matter in the end of the sentence. If MF and Me were the subject, it would be improper, but since in the predicate, it doesn't matter. But the "m" in Me shouldn't be capitalized, and MF would be before Me.

I think he was referring to how Blitz used the Me in front of the MF, because in any sentence like that you'd always put yourself last. I used to correct peoples sentences all the time like the little sweetheart I am ;)

Her hand is serving a slave, her drumsticks (legs) are for Sunday dinner, her skull makes a lovely planter. I haven't decided on the rest of her.

Miss Friendship wrote:Why do I not see you using the SS emoticons?
Because you have eyes. But also, I'm not much good at using them affectively and they don't often crack me up when others use them.
Miss Friendship wrote:Which one has more character: SS or ToO?
I am a notorious SS-is-better type, but you asked so. The ToO itself, the board, probably has more character. It has the graphics, the elections, the cleverly named forums, all that. In terms of posts, the SS has more. There are far more posts centered on AIO. AIO is truly the theme of the board and, happily, what most members come to discuss. This sets it apart from the hundreds upon hundreds of boards for discussing essentially whatever, which is more or less what the ToO has become.
Miss Friendship wrote:What's your honest opinion on my set?
Pretty, to be sure. It doesn't seem to have much link to your persona. It's dramatic and sad, and you're neither. I like it though.
Miss Friendship wrote:Who would you ship me with from the SS?
This requires careful consideration. Perhaps The Old Judge. But more likely, even though it's obvious, Eleventh Doctor. Match in heaven. I sometimes imagine you wearing matching clothes when you argue, sitting on the beach.
Paula wrote:OHHH NOOOOOOO! I'm being eaten little by little >_> *panics* Errr...*coughs* ---->
Well, I guess (smileys) can be used to good affect. That was quite amusing.

Yes, it's sad. Let us mourn. :boohoo: Yay, I did it.

I had a wild thought that you would be different in this. Apparently not. *sighs* It will always puzzle me how "people who disagree all the time" are somehow translated to "the best match ever." Matching clothes? 0_o More like he'd wear black and I'd wear white.... or the other way around. Complete opposite.

What do you think of dramatic and sad stories? Do you prefer only happy endings?

Is a book any good to you if it has no humor mixed in?
Pound Foolish wrote:Well, I guess (smileys) can be used to good affect. That was quite amusing.
Paula's smileys would bring a monk to laughter. *reconsiders if that was a good metaphor or not*

It is weird. Maybe because you work things out a lot arguing, you get to know each other and accept and maybe even like each other's differences while still attempting to learn from and if necessary change the ideas of the other person. Or maybe because bad TV says to.
Miss Friendship wrote:What do you think of dramatic and sad stories? Do you prefer only happy endings?
I prefer happy endings, yes. But I enjoy sad endings, 1984 and such are unforgettable. What I don't like is, even when you don't know the plot, you can just feel these characters have no hope and the author is simply sending them off the the slaughter, as in Lord of the Flies. I never finished that, I had no idea it ended so poorly for everybody, I just felt that these characters were in a bland, stacked situation where clearly no good would come.
Miss Friendship wrote:Is a book any good to you if it has no humor mixed in?

Oh yes. Still, humor rarely hurts a book. A serious story like King Lear feels so sad because the tragedy contrasts with the humor.
Miss Friendship wrote:Paula's smileys would bring a monk to laughter. *reconsiders if that was a good metaphor or not*
I am deeply offended.
Blitz wrote:How did Paula get into servitude with you?
I bought her on ebay. You can get anything there.

Sorry. Again, probably Anglican.

Drat. Now my brain's been transplanted to the robot I saved for such an occasion. I hope you're happy. Incredible smiley, though. If the SS had smileys like that, I'd use them day and night.

I'm sorry, what was that? Can't talk now. Really though, we can talk if you like. :)

They're not? What are they?

This goes to show what I know about these things. I know more thanks to the SS, but it's still limited. Very.

Some Anglicans protest that they are Orthodox considering some of them remain largely the same as Catholics.
