Who is the oldest person you've met/known? What was the most interesting thing about that person?

My great grandmother lived to be 110, we visited her several times before she passed. I was between the ages of 8-12. The most interesting thing about her was that she always cared about us and those around her. To her very last day she remembered us and my parents, she would tell us the story of the time my mother brought my father home for the first time. She got married young and had children young so near the end of her life she was burying her children but she had an indomitable spirit to her and loved all her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Why have you never voted democratic? What would you vote in Canada? What do you think about the NDP?

ETA: do you think the Eucharist is God's primary means of grace? What do you think of the Gungor song Long Way Off? It has a part that reminded me of you:

The erudite composed a thesis
Everything we see is all, all, all there is
But as an apophatic mystic
We’re a long way, we’re a long way, we’re a long way
We’re a long way, we’re a long way, we’re a long way off

What's the longest you have ever been sick?

Do you have a window in your room?

Do you remember when your siblings were born?

What's your earliest memory?

I've never met a democrat who believed similar enough to me. I don't know enough about Canadian politics to say who I would vote for, my limited knowledge though makes me think I would find them all too liberal, by American standards.
aragtaghooligan wrote:ETA: do you think the Eucharist is God's primary means of grace?
I do, since ideally we should take it almost every day if one were following the full Church calendar and since it is the literal Body and Blood of Christ.

I like his mention of apophatic but at the same time worry about his being a mystic with no guidance or tradition.

I've never really been sick for more than a week, no serious illnesses.

I do but I cover it with a heavy blanket so I don't get woken up by sun, it faces east.

I remember when my youngest sibling was born.

My earliest memory was when we lived in the Philippines and there has been a tsunami that knocked over some trees in our yard and I was helping our yard boy clean away some of the big palm leaves.

that is an intense earliest memory. What is the great big place of your heart?
ETA: does that mean you don't think I should explore mysticism because I'm not EO?

I think the great big place of my heart is injustice toward others.

I think you can explore it without being EO but I think it could be dangerous to explore too deep. Check out that book I suggested, the person in that explores mysticism outside EO.

Why haven't you asked me questions in a long time?

That's awesome about your Grandma! But how awful would it be to bury your own kids...especially if they died of old age. o_o

Do you understand sheet music or a little music theory, if you've played guitar before?

Is there a local theater (acting/dancing) near you?

To answer your question in the intended way, probably a friends house that my D&D group hangs out at at least once a week. A couple years ago I was probably there several times a week. It was also where I first heard about Orthodoxy.

I do understand a little.

There is, a friend of mine from highschool with some friends of mine from college runs it and my siblings have been in several of the plays.

Do you have more than one email address?

Do you enjoy heroes in stories more or the villains?

Why is "Orthodox" called "Orthodoxy"?

I have two emails, both on gmail

Depends on the story, usually the hero but some villains are just so well written or acted that you like them more.

Because Orthodoxy means right belief

Do you use Facebook more or Twitter? Do you have Instagram?

Have you ever gone on simply a tourist trip?

Have you ever traveled somewhere by bus?

Do you have an i-pod? Or do you use your phone?

I use both about an equal amount, maybe Twitter a bit more. I do have Instagram but I don't use it very much.

I have done many tourist trips, all over Europe and much of southern and western America.

I have, when I was living in England I traveled by bus to the Netherlands.

I have an iPhone.
