What kind, how big, is it on your belt?

Do you always wear belts? Do you have a bank account or are you a cash person? Do you have a credit card? Did you know there's a guy who leaves his paintings in public places to let whoever wants it, take it? What would you do if you were in a public place and saw a painting you loved just sitting there unattended? Have you ever been in a serious car accident? What do you hate about yourself? When do you feel most insecure? Is there one person who has helped your self-acceptance more than anyone else, or is that something only you can affect? What do you want for dinner? Do you prefer gifts, or gift cards? How often do you wash your sheets? How do you eat your Oreos? What is the last thing you bought? What do you think of people who go to tanning booths or get spray tans?

Who be they?
To name a few.. Epictetus, Marcus Aurelius, Seneca.
Dom wrote:What kind, how big, is it on your belt?
It's a flip open utility knife, and I keep it clipped in my pocket.
Dom wrote:Do you always wear belts?
Yes.
Dom wrote:Do you have a bank account or are you a cash person?
I do have a bank account but I typically have cash on me.
Dom wrote:Do you have a credit card?
I do.
Dom wrote:Did you know there's a guy who leaves his paintings in public places to let whoever wants it, take it? What would you do if you were in a public place and saw a painting you loved just sitting there unattended?
I did not know that. And if I saw a painting I liked, I'd probably admire it for a little while.
Dom wrote:Have you ever been in a serious car accident?
I have not.
Dom wrote:What do you hate about yourself?
Hate? Nothing. Of course there are traits and habits that I'm not fond of, but I don't think I'd change any of them. I'm not always patient with myself or other people, I'm often hard on myself, and I quite like smoking.
Dom wrote:When do you feel most insecure?
When I'm tired and emotionally exhausted.
Dom wrote:Is there one person who has helped your self-acceptance more than anyone else, or is that something only you can affect?
I'd have to say that's something that's up to me to deal with, not others. I do have friends that are lovely and wonderful, but self-acceptance is just that - 'self'.
Dom wrote:What do you want for dinner?
Salad!
Dom wrote:Do you prefer gifts, or gift cards?
Gifts, if I had to choose. I'm not partial to receiving gifts.
Dom wrote:How often do you wash your sheets?
Not very often at all, but I typically sleep on my couch.
Dom wrote:How do you eat your Oreos?
I haven't had oreos in forever.. But I'd probably eat around the perimeter and save the middle bite for last.
Dom wrote:What is the last thing you bought?
Oil for a cutting board I made and some various groceries from an organic store in town.
Dom wrote:What do you think of people who go to tanning booths or get spray tans?
I don't. =p

Why not, if you aren't fond of them?

One would think with other advances you've made in your life, this would be something you would have grown more comfortable receiving, now.

That's how I eat my hamburgers.

Are there other foods you have special ways of eating? Do you like giving gifts to others? What is a TRAIT you're UNFOND of, in yourself? Do you feel gay tooling around in your sparkly car?   Are you ever lazy? What is a trait that would be a dealbreaker for you in a serious romantic relationship? What's the furthest you've driven, recently? When you give presents, do you wrap them, put them in gift bags, or just HAND it to the person? Do you think Facebook is pretty legit or just a popularity contest for immature brats? How often do you wash your hair? How do you feel about PDA's? Do you take any pills? Do you feel BAD when you STEP on a BUG?! O.o Who makes you roll your eyes? Do you prefer SAUSAGE SANDWICHES...or BREAKFAST TACOS? =|

Why not, if you aren't fond of them?
Because they're part of who I am, struggles I'm going through, and things I'm improving upon.
Dom wrote:Are there other foods you have special ways of eating?
Most foods I consistently eat, actually. It's more obvious with candy or coffee or somesuch, although I certainly have methods for the actual meals I eat. Not necessarily because it'd bother me if I did it otherwise, I've just gotten into a habit of eating stuff the same way.
Dom wrote:Do you like giving gifts to others?
Yes.
Dom wrote:What is a TRAIT you're UNFOND of, in yourself?
' I'm not always patient with myself or other people, I'm often hard on myself, and I quite like smoking. '
Dom wrote:Do you feel gay tooling around in your sparkly car?
While my possessions don't signify my sexuality, I mean.. I'm into the ladies. So I feel gay in that way. =p
Dom wrote:Are you ever lazy?
Of course I am. I have a tendency of going like mad and then crashing. The laziness is generally reserved for the crash segment.
Dom wrote:What is a trait that would be a dealbreaker for you in a serious romantic relationship?
Dishonesty.
Dom wrote:What's the furthest you've driven, recently?
Recently in the last month or so? About an hour or two outside of town. It's been a little while since I've gone on a big driving adventure.
Dom wrote:When you give presents, do you wrap them, put them in gift bags, or just HAND it to the person?
I generally just give people things without wrap.
Dom wrote:Do you think Facebook is pretty legit or just a popularity contest for immature brats?
I think people find it useful in different ways, but it can certainly become an inefficient method for communication.
Dom wrote:How often do you wash your hair?
Generally whenever I take a shower. Daily or every other day, usually.
Dom wrote:How do you feel about PDA's?
I'm not usually partial to participating in them myself.
Dom wrote:Do you take any pills?
Nope.
Dom wrote:Do you feel BAD when you STEP on a BUG?!
Occasionally, not always.
Dom wrote:Who makes you roll your eyes?
I have a few coworkers that certainly elicit that reaction.
Dom wrote:Do you prefer SAUSAGE SANDWICHES...or BREAKFAST TACOS? =|
Breakfast tacos.

I'd probably say the only thing I'm absolutely sure of is my consciousness. Everything else is perception. I try to believe that what I'm seeing and experiencing is real; it seems the only logical reaction. If they specified that they were asking about religion, I'd say I don't believe in the Christian God [or whatever god he's referring to]. If we think of everything in this reality as god, then yes, I believe in that. But not the one of the Bible.

Have you ever tried pacing yourself?

What is the last thing that made you cry? Do you listen to any Christian music? What is the last concert you went to? Is there something you are ashamed of yourself for? What is the last creative thing you did? Do you often get sick? What really rankles your sense of injustice? Do you own any make-up? Do you ever drink tea? What are your dream wheels?

Yes, I generally try to do that. Crash and burn is just what I end up with.
Dom wrote:What is the last thing that made you cry?
Most likely frustration, and I don't remember what over (to answer your next question).
Dom wrote:Do you listen to any Christian music?
Nope.
Dom wrote:What is the last concert you went to?
Hmm, I don't really remember. Probably some sort of outdoor summer concert a few years ago.
Dom wrote:Is there something you are ashamed of yourself for?
Nope.
Dom wrote:What is the last creative thing you did?
I worked on a collapsible desk today. It's all made out of one sheet 3/4" lauan ply.
Dom wrote:Do you often get sick?
Nope.
Dom wrote:What really rankles your sense of injustice?
Starvation in the world while there are plenty of resources to go around.
Dom wrote:Do you own any make-up?
Nope.
Dom wrote:Do you ever drink tea?
Veeeeeeery occasionally. I don't generally seek it out, but I'd take a sip of chai tea.
Dom wrote:What are your dream wheels?
An old truck.. which has a handmade tiny house attached to it.

Have you ever visited Oregon? Would you ever like to?

Why do you spend time with an obscure AIO community and chatroom? O.o

If you had to Helios your topic title, what would it say?

Yep, I spent some time in Portland and a bit passing through a while ago (I think).

FOR ALL THE FUN.

Is this going to include running water? Why an old truck? What kind of old truck?

What made you start this thread? What do you spend the most time doing, online? If you find body language and facial expressions so important, why do you talk to so many people online, still? Would you ever paint a wooden floor yellow? Do you believe in aliens? ARE WE ALIENS? Do you think we should bother thinking about what happens after death? Do you think TV is a waste of time? How many shows are you actively watching right now? Are you gonna post pictures of your desk?

The tiny house will certainly have a water system of sorts. I'm thinking about doing a rainwater collection method and using greywater for dishes and showers and the such. I'll have to buy water to drink.

Because they are cheaper. And the reliable kind.

Someone prompted me to do so. Listen to music or watch videos, I imagine.

Oh, same reason I don't eat gourmet food every day. Simply because I don't find something to be the best possible method doesn't mean I'll /never/ use it. I still enjoy weak gas station coffee even though I'm fond of strong french press.

I can't imagine I would.

Yes, I believe there are other life forms in this entire galaxy (or others) other than just us, on earth.

Yes, in so much as we're strangers to other beings.

If you find it benefits your life currently, go for it. It doesn't personally benefit mine to think about what happens.. other than my body rotting and creating new soil and continuing the flow of things.

It can be, depending on what you're doing with that time. I have no idea if it benefits other people's lives. For me, it's a good way to calm my brain down and think about situations presented in the show, and think through other things going on in life.

I am actively watching one. Breaking Bad.

That's a possibility, although I don't have any of the finished product right now.
