It was encouraging spam, now you have to actually engage with people and think up individual questions.

Goodness. A lot of unnecessary talk about me here. O.o
Eleventh Doctor wrote:MF is intrinsically linked to the questions she asks and the debates she participates in, I can't separate those aspects from her.
That's a round about way of saying I wouldn't be considered a friend if I didn't debate. *is offended* Image

So who is the best friend you've made on the SS? 0_o
Mandy wrote:Because we both agreed it was cheating on her fast to debate with you on Twitter. If she kept doing it... She's going to hear from me.
I only communicated with him like on 3 different days? And discussing cinnamon wasn't much of a debate.
Eleventh Doctor wrote:My day was rather chaotic. I set my alarm incorrectly so I woke up at 945 to a phone call from the person I was suppose to meet at 930 to give a ride to. Today was also the church picnic and I was suppose to get there early to set up but that didn't happen. I drove fast and made it just a little bit late and then learned I was suppose to cook all the food so I cooked 140 hotdogs and 80 hamburgers. Then I got to hang out with people which was fun. Then as I was leaving a friend in DC invited me over for random movie and bread pudding so I did that and that was a ton of fun. So overall a pretty good if somewhat chaotic day.
Well, that explains your tweets. I couldn't quite make sense of them.

Favorite "Christian" movie? Or are there any good ones?

The best friend I've made on SS is Sam.

Movies don't have souls and thus can't be Christian.

I am rolling my eyes at you. I think she meant movies explicitly featuring Christian values, actors, and directors.

Exactly.

Why wasn't she included in the list of people you'd like to meet IRL? O.o

Ok, so we do communion every 3 months instead of 6, I guess.

Does your church also do the ritual of feet washing?

And does everyone remember their favorite things about Jesus?

Do you believe that the bread/wine is not itself hallowed, but rather the One it represents?

What if a movie featured Christian actors and directors but was promoting secular values? Or what if a movie was promoting Christian values but featured non-Christian actors and directors?

I thought she was

I know of some Orthodox church that do that ritual but we do not.

I'm not familiar with that ritual.

I believe the eucharist is literally the Body and Blood of Christ.

Let's go with your favorite movie made by Christian directors.

Jesus said to "Remember me" and so we should obey that command. After communion is all about remembering Jesus. I don't see it as anything else.

So that means it's hallowed and has special power?

None of my favorite movies were made by Christian directors.

I think when Christ says that in Scripture He's talking about communion.

Communion is hallowed in the sense that it is made holy but I'm sensing you're using the term "special power" in a condescending way.

So you have never enjoyed those type of movies?

That's an assumption. When someone dies, at a funeral, we usually remember certain things about them. Why would it be different with Jesus?

I was using it in a sarcastic way. Communion is to remember Jesus though... Jesus is holy, not the bread itself. So the bread is as great as the one its representing?

Nope, never. I feel like the ones I've encountered so far are inferior to other films.

Because when Christ said it He said
And He took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to them, saying, “This is My body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of Me."
That seems pretty clear to me.

I never said the bread is as great as the one its representing. I said it literally becomes His Body & Blood and that Christ works through the eucharist. It is nothing apart from Christ.

Perhaps they are inferior because they do not have the "thrill" that secular films give.

Well, I guess that makes sense.

Do you remember when 9/11 happened? Where were you at the time?

Should I report you for doing two one word posts?

That's true, because they aren't as well done. Technically, writing wise, acting they just are objectively worse.
Miss Friendship wrote:Do you remember when 9/11 happened? Where were you at the time?
I do, I was 14 at the time here in Virginia. My grandmother called us and told us to turn on the TV. I also watched from my backyard as Air Force One flew back from Florida to Andrews Air Force Base with several fighters.

One more question concerning communion... Could Jesus bless grape juice and have that become His blood or does it have to be wine?
