Why pray? (Calvinism vs. Arminanism)

I am going to go back to the question of the topic. I don't know if it has been answered yet but I am going to answer it. Even though God has planned everything and whether you pray or not it isn't going to change anything. So why would we pray? That is a question I have asked before and I got the answer that we pray because we are called to pray God wants to know what we want to happen and what we want. So we basically pray because we are called to pray.

That's the real question though. If prayer has no effect whatsoever, then if we decide not to pray it should have no real impact on Gods plan at all, right?

No it won't but even though we pray or don't pray I know it isn't going to affect his plan but God calls us to pray and therefore we MUST pray. It is like a commandment. Even if we disobey one of the commandments it is going to affect Gods plan.

Interesting point of view. I disagree with you to the very core of my being, but it's an interesting idea anyway.
