God's Name
You just said gosh was not swearing, and now you are!? Say what you mean!
Is saying "The manure is ready to be spread on the field," swearing?

Yes it is... That kind of language isn't used on the board, I reported your post just so you know.

Um... yes. And unless you have a reasonable explanation for asking such an arbitrary and offensive question, you will probably be banned for a pretty long time. I'm getting the feeling that you might have just joined his board just to cause trouble. Is that true?

What about "How can you escape being [censored]?"

I fail to see what any of this has to do with "gosh". You're just being provocative, and I don't see any reason why you shouldn't be perpetually banned from this board. This is, at most, a PG-rated site, and I think you knew that.

Answer the question.

If the question had anything to do with the subject at hand, I might CONSIDER answering it, but it doesn't seem to, and until you can convince me that it does, I will refuse to answer it.
I knew that, but it's considered extremely offensive by most of the people on this board. Do I know why? Not really. But you still have to respect that and not act like an idiot who completely disrespects the rules. You're completely endangering the Soda Shop's kid friendly reputation, and you could singlehandedly cause the entire collapse of the whole board. But I'm getting the sense that that's exactly what you want.

Okay, perhaps you should've said that earlier so that I could censor it for you. I apologize that I offended you, but what you did was still very unnecessary. Besides, **** is generally accepted as a far more offensive word than "g**h", and you should've known that. You could've easily talked to me about how "g**h" offends you without trying to offend us.

I don't care what is generally accepted. If people who swear was generally accepted as bad and killable, you would not find that offensive?

I don't even know what you're saying by your last sentence.
As for your first sentence, that's a rather rebellious attitude that I think you'll one day regret. It's true that we shouldn't accept something just because the world does, but when you're in a place where you know that 99.9 percent of the people there are going to be extremely offended by something you say, why would want to say it just to get a reaction? I know you're probably not going to like this, but your denomination is one of the few that considers "g***" to be an awful, awful swear word, so how was I or anyone else supposed to know that you were part of that small minority?

"I don't care what is generally accepted". No, you don't, because you care far more about yourself and about staying on your moral high horse than you do about speaking to people in a way that doesn't make you look like an ignorant, abrasive jerk. You can think that something is offensive all you want, but how dare you come on a board offered for use to kids as young as nine or ten and use profanity openly just to make a point about how wrong and evil people are for not following along with a small minority? Your arguments thus far have been insulting and puerile. Either grow up and treat others with respect, or stop expecting that respect be accorded to you.

Yes, small minority. Have you ever actually met anyone outside of your denomination?

Yeah, the number of people I've ever met who actually think that "gosh" is wrong and evil is...actually nonexistant, and I live in a pretty conservative area.

Why do you even need to say gosh or geez?

He was serious, Wakko, at least as serious as Mr. Yorp has ever been.
You're still acting like an idiot, and I mean as much offense in that accusation as it implies. Tigershadow never used the word "g***" in its proper context: we were just debating about it like civilized human beings. You just need to understand that your denomination isn't the whole world, and you need to admit that what you did was a mistake, just as I apologized for offending you.
