Does the SS need a chat?

Okay, since when are avatars supposed to have a meaning?
It's cool when they do, but there is nothing wrong with joining a message board, right? Everyone is a noob at some point, I don't see why you wouldn't be open to new members.
Avatars are pictures who someone thought looked cool, or represented them. that's all.
I don't mean to fight, or get off topic, but.....

Anyhow, my dear real-life relative, that post made me quite nostalgic. That time a long time ago, a short time ago, was very fun. But oh well, the way things are is fun too... especially with the chat gone for a bit. Don't you agree, Arwen?

I'm sorry PF, I do know how to take a joke, quite well actually, especially on the Internet. It's just super hard to tell if Arkan is joking or not. You're not supposed to make it really hard for someone to understand a joke or sarcasm you know.....I can usually tell the tone of a post, but...

It is reminiscent of the old days. Back when we had Suzy and Creative Thinker as frequent posters, and people were unaware that Pound Foolish and I were related. And I think T.S. and Wooton used to post more...Those were the good days.

I think we all used to post more. That might change again this summer. I remember that at one point, Pound Foolish was making seventeen posts every day.

Yup, I remember those days. I even remember the days before PF came... it's hard to think of SS without him though. I actually think, in a way, I liked those days better than the current SS... I guess it just had less members. Not that I'm against new members joining, of course!
