Alright, now it's your turn to focus:
IT IS POSSIBLE TO SOLVE MYSTERIES AT THAT AGE!
*BEEP* *INCORRECT* *UNLESS YOU CAN GIVE ONE EXAMPLE OF AN 11 OR 13 YEAR OLD KID SOLVING CRAZY MYSTERIES IN ACTUAL REALITY*
Is it common? NO. Is it possible? YES.
*Repeats previous statement*
Just because you can't you can't
Just because I can't
I can't...? o_O Could you say that one more time, I fear the Emily-sickness is further oppressing you.
Emily is one in a million. It is NOT unrealistic, it is just un-common. There IS a difference:
You just called Emily an "it". O_O
Not that I'm complaining, mind you...
But she ain't a part of reality, and is unlike any kid I've ever(and WILL ever) see in my lifetime, because of her freakish abilities to solve problems most grown men probably would be scratching their heads over. It just doesn't happen...It's unrealistic. Browse the internet all you want(And I HAVE). Unless there are lots of supernaturally gifted kids locked up in some hole hidden from the public suddenly INTRODUCED to the world, I'll continue to stick to realism in my thinking towards kids doing that kinda thing.
By the way... I figured you might wanna see the difference between "Annoying" and "Not-annoying". XD
Annoying:
an·noy·ing
əˈnoi-iNG/
adjective
1.
causing irritation or annoyance.
"annoying habits"
synonyms: irritating, infuriating, exasperating, maddening, trying, tiresome, troublesome, bothersome, nettlesome, obnoxious, irksome, vexing, cursed, vexatious, galling;
NOT-Annoying
NOT-an·noy·ing
NOT-əˈnoi-iNG/
adjective
1.
Not causing irritation or annoyance.
"Not-annoying habits"
synonyms: Not-irritating, Not-infuriating, Not-exasperating, Not-maddening, Not-trying, Not-tiresome, Not-troublesome, Not-bothersome, Not-nettlesome, Not-obnoxious, Not-irksome, Not-vexing, Not-cursed, Not-vexatious, Not-galling;
Hope that helped.
On your basis that she's unrealistic and annoying, you should also hate Eugene.
You seem to have forgotten(once again) that I don't hate Emily. And I WOULD dislike Eugene, except for one thing....He's not annoying. o_O Just hilarious.
Eugene's special abilities are probably one in a billion, I mean he graduated from college at 13!!
I agree, that IS very unrealistic. Good thing he's an entertaining character and NOT annoying.
And yet Emily solving a mystery at that age is just sooooo far-fetched and unbelievable
Indeed.
suuuuurrre guys.
Yep. Just trying to do my part to spread the word.
Our Klub Rules Emily. Period. Exclamation point.
*Stayed too long typing this out and runs off to work* O_O

I can't think of a single little kid who WOULDN'T wanna read a book about some kid his/her age who can solve crazy mysteries and yadda yadda such yadda. Especially since that just...doesn't happen. o_O If those books actually stuck true to reality, they'd be as boring as the dickens, and would NOT appeal to little kids around the globe, lemme tell ya. XD
Did you just prove PF's point? I think you did. Yes, they're not likely, but what is in media? If the point is to be realistic, then of course Odyssey doesn't meet the qualifications! But that's part of the charm, and it is written for kids a lot younger than most of us.
Emily's annoying. That's all. o_o
