The castle shook as the bomb struck, and Metal15 nearly lost his footing. Around him, several people he recognized as some of the ESK clasped their weapons tightly and made their way toward the windows. Metal15 dropped to one knee and shook his head to clear it. His ears rang from the noise of the bomb’s impact. The ESK soldiers in the room had reached the windows. A faint noise could be heard. Like a quiet whisper getting louder...and louder... Metal15’s eyes widened. He raised his hand, “Get away from the--” But it was too late.
All the windows exploded in unison, sending glass flying in all directions, pelting the soldiers, knocking them down. And with a roar, hundreds of monkeys swarmed through. An overwhelming amount. Metal15 threw himself backwards against the far wall, as the monkeys swarmed over the soldiers. Screams erupted from the ESK troopers as the monkeys piled on them and began dragging them back toward the windows. Metal15 jumped to his feet, felt the power surge through his suit, and with a snarl rushed forward swinging his arms sending monkeys flying. He reached the first trooper and latched onto him with both hands. A chimpanzee jumped on Metal15’s back from behind and started beating his head and yanking his long hair. Metal15 yelped and threw himself backwards, smashing the ape’s head on the ground. The chimp let go. Metal15 flicked the hair out of his face and jumped back to his feet just as Noah and Fodo entered the room. Metal15 leapt out of the way as Noah whipped out his little MP5 machine gun, and began blasting bullets wildly into the massive throng of primates.
“Noah, don’t hit the troopers, watch it!” Metal15 ripped a few monkeys off himself who were trying to eat his eyeballs and tossed them aside. “FODO! Where’s your suit???”
Fodo kicked at a little monkey biting at his ankle and threw a wide grin at Metal15. “I wasn’t expecting to engage with monkeys this fine morning...”
More monkeys swarmed into the room, so many that the ESK soldiers being dragged away by monkeys were no longer visible.
Metal15 kicked at a few more monkeys. “Dang...” He turned to Noah, who had just run out of ammo. “Alright, there’s not a whole lot we can do at this point, we need to go get T.S. and CT, and then maybe--”
Another explosion shook the castle, and Metal15 paused, resisting the urge to sit down as his footing moved violently. A loud humming sound was growing steadily nearer.
The monkeys in the room stopped attacking and lifted their heads looking toward the windows. A large pod-like aircraft was making it’s way toward the castle. It’s incessant humming was threatening to make Metal15's ears bleed in protest. With an almost graceful movement, the large throng of monkeys parted down the middle and stood at attention, standing as still as statues. The humming noise had reached it’s peak. The aircraft was right outside the windows.
Metal15, Fodo and Noah backed away, unsure of what would take place next.
A loud female voice from outside shouted “LAUNCH!” and several pops could be heard, and then several loud THUNKs as something struck the outside wall. Loud creaks could be heard, accompanied by lots of whirring. Then, with a great CRUNCH, the wall with the windows was ripped from the room, exposing the room to the rushing winds. Metal15, Fodo and Noah stumbled backwards in surprise. Several pod-shaped aircraft could be seen hovering outside the room, the large wall that had been un-attached hung from mechanical arms attached to one of the giant pods. The monkeys climbed up the piece of wall, dragging the captured ESK soldiers with them up to the ship. Dozens of people could be seen manning the aircraft, through windows in the cockpit or on the roof battlements of the pod. The aircraft--there were eight of them in total--parted in front of the now exposed room, leaving a large gap between the two rows of humming craft. An even louder humming sound was coming. A ninth aircraft came into view. Metal15 squinted at it. It’s outer armored shell was completely green. And from its sides sprouted long wings, which were flapping rapidly in a blur. The wings...Strange...Fairy wings? Metal15 scratched his head. It looked like it. And that could only mean one thing...
The large green fairy-winged aircraft stopped directly in front of the room and hovered there, the unceasing humming emanating from it’s wing beat. With a loud clank a panel opened on the front of the craft, and a long metal plank slid and lowered itself out of the opening to the room slightly below. With another clank, the long metal walkway locked in place. Metal15, Fodo, and Noah took another step back. From the opening, a figure stepped forth. His green armored power-suit gleamed in the sunlight. Metal15, Fodo and Noah glared. It was him. Pound Foolish himself. The tyrant slowly made his way down the metal gang plank, his green metal boots making a clank...clank...clank.
Noah yelled in Metal15’s ear above the noise of the aircraft, “C’mon, let’s take him, NOW!”
Metal15 held a hand up, and mouthed, “Wait.”
PF made his way towards them, taking his time. He stepped off the gang plank and entered the room, stopping five yards away. His armored suit was quite impressive, and was--as previously noted--...quite green. A confidant smirk lit up his face, as he crossed his arms and stared at his three opposers.
Metal15 and his two comrades glared back, their postures and expressions emanating their defiance.
