Frozen (2013)
Can I vote for myself? A poll for this would be nice.
17:39<Novatom>: I'm in another boat. A boat of people who don't know what everyone's talking about. A boat that is sinking.
17:40<Sameriazx>: oh no... here we go again...
17:40<Sameriazx>: oh no... here we go again...
I suppose you can vote for yourself
I didn't start this topic so I can't start a pole.

Watch from the window.
Another world to me.
What is it like?
I don't remember.
Everything's changed since --
*gasp*
Ice.
I don't understand...
All I did was touch it...
*Knock*
Elsa?
silence.
pain.
longing.
loneliness.
a raging storm inside.
And I can't let it out...
Do you wanna build a snowman?
Conceal.
It doesn't have to be a snowman.
Don't feel.
Go away Anna.
Silence.
Okay...Bye.
Deep Breath.
Tears.

I did not watch it and will not wish to watch it because of its immorality.

Bahahahahaha! Oh, good joke, Yorp, good joke. You're a funny guy. You can stop the charade now and take that website down.
Wait... you're serious?
And this website is real?
I mean, you didn't make it up? These people coming up with these theories have waaaay too much time on their hands. I have actually heard the whole "Elsa is a symbol for l*s*i*n*" argument before, and I just about laughed my head off. All this website is is the result of a bunch of Christians who are absolutely terrified of any subtle "g*y rights support" from children's entertainment. So they attempt to construe a perfectly innocent song like "Let It Go" into something "sinful". It's just sad that Christians constantly feel the need to waste their time on things like this, and it makes the rest of the world think horribly about them, and rightfully so. So, no Mr. Yorp, for all it's little tiny story flaws, there is nothing immoral about Frozen, and it somewhat upsets me that you put that link up for unsuspecting Frozen fans (including my little sister) to click on and get the wrong impression about the movie.
Wait... you're serious?

I also don't like The Lego Movie because of its homosexuality.
I need to take a break from this site. The utter ignorance from some of the users is just...wow.
You know where I last saw garbage like what's on the site you linked to? Those public access tv shows with kooky Christians who claim that everything is awesome-um, evil.

Ah, you didn't catch what Batman said when he was going off with the starwars guys on that shipthingy did ya?

No, I didn't, because I'm not actively searching for homosexual references in kiddie flicks. Besides, even if Batman made one slightly suggestive line that no one heard but you, that wouldn't (shouldn't) even remotely suggest what the film makers' stance on same-sex marriage was.
But seriously, are you trying to be provocative now? You're basically just trying to ruin kids' fun by making them think of their favorite movies in ways they shouldn't have to think about them at all. I'm actually not mad at all, (still in the confused/amused phase) but I respectfully request that we stop this discussion now before you add Big Hero 6 to your list.
I can respect your opinions, but please don't suggest homosexual undertones in harmless children's entertainment like Frozen and The Lego Movie ever again. If you don't ever bring it up again, I won't either.

What is Big Hero 6?
Is it harmless? If Christians think that homosexuality is okey, What else will they start to reject until they reject the entire Holy Bible

Big Hero 6 is a very good recent Disney movie. If you want to know more, look it up.
I didn't say homosexuality was harmless, I said these movies are.

https://generationswithvision.com/2014/ ... ys-frozen/I take the position that the light treatment of an abominable sin like this in a child’s film (however brief), is inappropriate. I would be similarly offended to watch 5-second nude scene tucked into a Veggie Tales feature.

I want to be angry about this, but I'm honestly more amused. =D Thanks for the laugh; it's exam week, so I need all the humor I can get in my life.
You are aware that "Let It Go" isn't even supposed to be an empowering song in the context of the story, yes? It's supposed to be about someone who's been repressed all her life running away from her responsibilities. Elsa's story doesn't end with "Let It Go" because she's not supposed to free herself from her background and her duties as queen, and yet she recklessly abandons her entire kingdom instead of owning up to what she is. She's not entirely responsible for that, but considerable blame can be placed on her.
Now that this topic is active again, I will note that one of the things that strikes me about Frozen is that there seem to be almost no stakes involved. The movie is really careful and innocent, even by Disney standards; Frozen doesn't take a whole lot of risks when you compare it to Big Hero 6 and Tangled. This is not an inherently bad thing, but I think it is worth noting.

That interpretation of the line in "Fixer-Upper" is likely not what Disney had in mind when they wrote it. I always thought (until now, at least) that the line was referring to Kristoff having no human friends, and Sven having no animal friends: thus, it's "outside of nature's laws" for them to be so close in a brotherly way. If you actually watched the movie, Mr. Yorp, (and if that guy would actually pay attention to the storyline, instead of incessantly searching for hidden meanings) you would likely understand that. But now everyone's perception of that line is meaninglessly scarred forever.
Besides, it's not comparable to a 5-second nude scene in Veggietales at all, for a bunch of reasons that I'm sure we all know.
Oh, and I completely agree with Tigershadow too. I wish I had thought of that argument.

What argument? I wasn't talking about the song. I was speaking of the animalism.

Yes, I see that now with the article you posted. But if you actually watched the movie and experienced Kristoff and Sven's relationship first-hand, I'm fairly certain you would understand what I was talking about and wave that article's foolish ideas away. I feel like it's almost the authors of those articles that are being perverted, as opposed to a reindeer and his human best friend, since they're so obsessed with this kind of stuff.
