Well I cannot honestly say that you guys live up to those standards. You certainly do not always give Miss Friendship the benefit of the doubt. Some if you twisted things she said into the most insane statements that it made me sick. I would like to live up to those standards but I'm still learning the art of debating and it's hard to know if I can use my information sources because you always discredit everything I use. The verses I give to back my beliefs are taken out of context, Ray Comfort and Answers in Genesis are unreliable and they know nothing, it's just my ultra conservative influence. *sigh* I will never have a chance of becoming a debate vampire. (It is my personal opinion that the debate vampires need more variety. What fun are If everyone generally agrees? Now I know our debates have been heated lately but I've never seen any two debate vampires butt heads hard in a debate. You need variety in your court.)

I agree, we don't live up to these standards at present. We should do a much better job at giving the benefit of the doubt to others.

Discussing sources is a large part of debate. I wouldn't say Ray Comfort and Answers in Genesis know nothing, I just think they are not as rigorous in their examination of the issues as they could be, as for the verses those are up for interpretation.

I don't think we all agree, I think we've had plenty of inter court debates where we disagree. More of those do happen on the chat though. Mandy if you want to suggest a debate where two Debate Vampires would disagree hard please do so, that would give us a chance to live up to our standards.
